STUDENT BOOKLISTS 2013

Following is booklist costs for 2013 to cover the eight curriculum areas plus specialist programs.

The eight curriculum areas are:

1.  The Arts 5. Mathematics

2.  English Language 6. Science

3.  Health and Physical Education 7. Studies of Society and Environment

4.  Languages Other Than English (L.O.T.E.) 8. Technology Studies

BOOKLIST: 2013 / Amount
1.  Children’s working materials :
Writing materials; scissors; folders; rulers; workbooks; erasers; glue; coloured pencils; etc. / $55.00
2.  Design Technology/Science/Project/Craft Supplies
Project materials; brushes; adhesives; paint; paper/card; clay; modelling equipment; wood/textiles; cooking supplies; science requisites. (These will be shared). / $10.00
3.  Whole Class Resources:
Includes specific resources for the eight curriculum learning areas and other special programs operating within the school. / $15.00
4.  Materials Productions:
Duplicating paper/stencils; bookmaking supplies; photocopying for class sets. $20.00 / $10.00

It would be appreciated if this booklist could be paid as soon as possible.

Please note there are no voluntary contributions in 2013. If you do not want the school to supply your child/children with books parents have the option of purchasing books and requisites themselves. If you decide to take this option please inform the school by Friday 3rd February, you will be given a booklist for the grade however the amount of $45 is payable to the school for other consumables as listed. Please be aware that school purchase bulk amounts of supplies at a much cheaper rate.

The Education Maintenance Allowance in 2013 is $150 payable to parents in 2 instalments $105 & $45, Prep children receive $200 there is no longer a School Start Bonus for Prep students and the school receives no portion of the EMA. In 2013 parents have the option of an EMA direct deposit to the school, this will cover the booklist, excursions and in the case of Preps swimming, unused EMA funds for the family are carried forward to 2014. Please note to receive the EMA parents must have a valid Healthcare or pension card on 29/1/2013 (1st instalment) and 15/7/2013 (2nd instalment).
