BIGAMIST

The so called new “King of Rock and Roll” arrived yesterday. During his press conference a reporter walked to two girls standing nearby. “Are you related to Mr. Lewis?” he asked. One young lady replied that she was Mr. Lewis’ sister. When the other young girl was asked her relationship to Mr. Lewis, she replied that she was the wife of Mr. Lewis. When questioned about her age she responded that she was 15. Upon questioning Mr. Lewis, he replied, “Yes I am married to her and proud of it! This is my little bride, Mrs. Myra Gale Lewis.” Many people in the crowd began to get hostile saying that 15 was much too young to be married. Myra Gale Lewis spoke up and responded, “Gosh, backhome people get married young. One girl got wed at 9.”

In the process of confirming Mr. and Mrs. Lewis’ story, the Daily Sketcher has discovered that Mrs. Jerry Lee Lewis is not 15, but 13 and furthermore is Mr. Lewis’ cousin. We also discovered that Mr. Lewis was not divorced from his first wife when he married Myra Gale Brown Lewis. Therefore, he is a bigamist.

During Mr. Lewis’ first concert here in London, a baby carriage was rolled across the stage while angry members of the audience began shouting and cursing. They yelled, “Get out of here, baby snatcher! Get off the stage!”

Let’s show Mr. Lewis what we think of him and his baby snatching ways. Your lack of attendance at his scheduled concerts will give a voice to your concerns. Let’s run him out of England on a rail and show him that we disapprove of him and his boogie-woogie music!
