Daily Routine…How to keep yourself on top of things

Set a routine. Allocate a set amount of time for each subject each day (Monday-Thursday). I'd recommend 20-30 minutes per academic subject a night. You need to set a timer and follow your set schedule, taking breaks when necessary and not overdoing anything. To get strong one doesn’t do 1,000 push-ups in a day but rather a reasonable number that one is able to complete each day. Success will come as one dedicates a proper amount of time to achieve the goal.

Organizing one’s time is critical for success. One must first examine one’s day and begin to set a time for each subject. Now, even when one has no assigned work, the expectation of this program is to then read, review, re-write notes, etc. each day for the assigned subject. So each day, one is studying and increasing one’s knowledge.

Setting the daily schedule:

Begin with the most difficult subject then move to the second easiest.Take a break (30 minutes).
Then resume studying with the second most difficult subject and eventually finishing with the least difficult subject. Now, when I say difficult, I mean difficulty in understanding/comprehending not most amount of work.

Again, the idea of this type of studying is not only completing assigned work, but studying, reading, and reviewing the subject matter taught each day. Some days there may be no assigned work, but students do best if they develop a routine of studying/reviewing/reading/etc. each day.

This plan is to be placed and glued into one’s binder reminder.
