FESTIVAL SIGN UP SHEETS: Parents, WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE PARK ON Saturday, please remember to sign in with the PTC officers. When you leave, you MUST sign out as well. Failure to sign-out will result in your not receiving service hours. Remember you must work your service hours or you will be charged at $25.00 an hour.
LION’S ROAR – On Wednesday at assembly, we will be announcing which class purchased the most Lions at the Lion Sale. The class with the most Lions will have a Pizza Party. Even a small class can win as we use a percentage method to make sure everything is fair and just. Also the class that has the most creative door by department, will get a Free Dress Day on Wednesday, Oct. 11th
EIGHTH GRADE PARENTS - MANDATORY MEETING- Parents, there will be a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, October the 10th at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Our first fundraiser will be taking place soon. We will need the cooperation of all Eighth Grade Families.
PK4 PARENTS – 10/11/17 IMPORTANT MEETING REQUIRED ATTENDANCE – On October 11th at 6:00 p.m. we will meet in the PK4 Classroom. The school counselor will be present for Kimochi training!
BOXTOP INFORMATION! Parents, send in your box tops with your child to School. Give the Box Tops to Sr. Marjorie, or drop them off in the school office. For every Box Top collected our school will receive ten cents. All the box tops collected will add up to help our school buy things it needs the most.
SPIRIT SQUAD NEWS- Ms. Bochas, (1st grade teacher) and Ms. Pinon, (3rd grade teacher)
are still asking for more girls to sign up for Spirit Squad. This is open to 5K-5th grade girls. Practice is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:45 pm – 4:30 pm. Please contact them if you need more information and forms are available in the office. GO LIONS GO!
BALLET FOLKLORICO CLASS HAS STARTED. There is still time for students to join in this class. Students should meet in the dining area at 3:45pm – 4:45 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Ms. Carrera.

Donations are still needed. If you can help with any donations, please drop off non- perishable items in the receptacle placed near the office. We would like to thank everyone who has helped for this worthy cause.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES – Some children are already signed up for Athletics, Choir, Spirit Squad, Ballet Folklorico, etc. In addition, we will once again have our STEM Clubs, Art Club, Zumba Club, Team-Up Challenge, Student Council (8th Grade). Clubs take place on Tuesdays unless otherwise posted. Please check with your teacher. If a parent/guardian would like to help sponsor a particular club, please let us know. All students must have their Extra-Curricular Permission Form signed before attending any club activities. All clubs will have a $10.00 registration fee. Please pay in the office. Clubs started on Tues. Oct. 3rd. Club times are from 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
WINTER UNIFORMS - Cooler weather will be arriving soon. Don’t forget that all children must have a Parker Uniform winter jacket/sweater. These are required uniform items. Please remember that all winter jackets /sweaters must be purchased at Parker uniform.
UNIFORM UPDATE – Due to Hurricane Harvey, there have been delays in orders. Please bear with Parker Uniforms as they try to catch up. If you still are missing any items, please notify the office. We are working with Parker to try and make sure you have your uniforms for Picture Day which is rescheduled for Oct.19, 2017. Thank you for your patience!
RUN WITH A MISSION 5K –SUNDAY, OCT. 29th- IMAGINE, A FULL WEEK OF FREE DRESS & EARN SERVICE HOURS. Let all your friends, neighbors and family know about the upcoming 5K Run. Registration for this year’s Hope for the Future 5K Run is open. Registration is online only. Those registering by October 13th will receive a FREE t-shirt. Register online: www.hopeforfuture.org.
