They are evading from their arrest.

BRIEF FACTS:-

With the arrest of Rajesh (29 years) S/o Prahlad Singh R/o H.No. 273A, Ujala Colony, Qutub Garh, Delhi, Narender (30 years) S/o Kishan Lal R/o E-6/31, Sultan Puri, Delhi and Mamta Arora @ Chhavi (20 years) D/o Devender Singh R/o Gali No. 12, Balbir Nagar, Shahdra, Delhi, the staff of PS-S.B.Dairy busted a gang of cheats who duped many persons on the fake promise of mobile tower installation.

INCIDENT/INVESTIGATION:-

Sh. KPS Malhotra, ACP/Bawana received information that one person namely Rajesh alongwith his group inducing people to earn more and easy money i.e. installation of mobile towers for which an advertisement is being published in Newspapers but this group never contact face to face with the people to whom they want to cheat. A planning to nab them was prepared. A decoy customer was prepared with suitable directions, who contacted on mobile number mentioned in the advertisement and contacted Rajesh, mastermind of the game that he is having a group of 25 persons of different areas in NCR who are interested to install mobile towers at their field, rooftop, vacant plots and requested to meet personally so that the deal could be finalized. A team led by Sh. K.P.S. Malhotra, ACP/Sub Division Bawana, Sh. Inspr. Vijay Kumar, SHO ShahbadDairy, Inspr. Sanjeev Chahar, SI Surendra Kumar, HC Subhash, HC Ajit, HC Surendra, HC Pradeep, HC Rajesh, HC Dinesh Kumar, Ct. Ravinder No. 726/OD, Ct. Deepak No., Ct. Ranbir No. , L/Ct. Sudesh No. under the overall supervision of Sh. P.Karunakaran, Addl.DCP/Outer District was formed.

On 20/06/2012 around 12.30 PM, as per commitment made on telephone from decoy customer, Rajesh picked decoy customer with shadow witness in his car from Bus Stand near ISCONTemple, Sector-25, Rohini and took them to his office at Netaji Subhash Place for dealing so that the work may be done. Decoy customer forced him politely to do the work in his favour. Rajesh immediately got agreed to allot one mobile tower in his field for which he took Rs. 4000/- as registration fee and gave him information letter, Rent Agreement and Job appointment letter of American Tower Company. This document was prepared by him alongwith his associates namely Narender and Mamta Arora @ Chhavi present in his office. They also put rubber stamp of American Tower Company and signed on the documents. As soon as a deal was completed, shadow witness came out from office and signalled to the police party which was waiting outside the office. The police team immediately raided the office and apprehended Rajesh, Narender and Mamta @ Chhavi and recovered Rs. 4000/- given by the decoy customer for installation of mobile tower. From the office following logistic support items being used by accused persons for the purpose of cheating and commission of crime were recovered.

1.13 Mobile phones taken on fake identity to contact the victims.

2.One Laptop, two Printers with scanner used to get the print of forged documents including Stamp papers.

3.Internet Data Card to send and receive information through e-mail.

4.13 ATM Cards of different Banks taken on fake identity for the withdrawal of cash deposited by the victims in their bank accounts.

5.13 Rubber stamps of different Mobile Tower Companies to affix on the forged documents.

6.One Honda Jazz Car used as store to keep fake documents and etc.

7.Huge quantity of Information letter, Rent Agreement, Job Appointment letters of different Mobile Tower Companies.

8.High class Stationeries used for printing Information letter, Rent Agreement, Job Appointment letters of different Mobile Tower Companies.

In this regard a case vide FIR No. 199/12 u/s 420/468/471/120B IPC, Dt. 20-6-12 PS SB Dairy was registered and investigation was taken up.

On interrogation, Rajesh and Narender disclosed that they were previously involved in the commission of similar nature of crime reported vide case FIR No. 233/11 u/s 420 IPC, dated 25.05.11, PS-Mahrauli and FIR No. 130/11 u/s 419/420/468/471/120-B IPC , dated 13.05.11, PS- Crime Branch respectively.

TWO DESPERATE BURGLARS ARRESTED: THREE CAMERAS WORTH RS. SIX LAKHS, JEWELLERY WORTH RS. SEVEN LAKHS, LCD TV AND SOME COSMETICS ITEMS RECOVERED : THREE BURGLARIES SOLVED : THEY USED TO LURK AROUND AS RAG PICKERS

With the arrest of Deepak @ Raj, aged about 38 years s/o Mahesh Chand Gupta r/o Vagabond, Kashmere Gate, Delhi and (2) Vicky @ Lokesh, aged 24 years s/o Bhagwan Dass r/o G-99, Bakkarwala JJ Colony, Delhi, Central District police has solved three cases of burglary of PS Pahar Ganj which had taken place in broad day light registered vide FIR No. 103/12 u/s 380/454 IPC dated 7-6-2012, FIR No. 109/12 u/s 380/454 IPC dated 15-6-2012 and FIR No. 113/12 u/s 380/454 IPC dated 18-6-2012.

Three cameras worth approx Rs. six lakhs, one diamond necklace, one gold chain, four pairs of pajeb and one pair of gold ear rings worth Rs. seven lakhs, LCD TV, Reliance Set top box and some cosmetics items have been recovered from their possession.

INCIDENT AND THE TEAM

In order to prevent and contain the increasing incidents of burglaries in the area of Central District, a team comprising of Inspr. Bijender Singh, SHO/Pahar Ganj, SI Rakesh Kumar, ASI Heera Lal, HC Yad Ram, HC Sanjay, HC Rakesh, Ct. Kuldip, Ct. Dharmender, Ct. Ranbir and Ct. Ashok under the close supervision of Shri Raja Ram, ACP/ Pahar Ganj, Central District was constituted and directed to develop information about gang of burglars operating in the area. A large number of sources were also deployed.

On 11.06.2012, a secret information was received at P.S. Pahar Ganj, Delhi that one person, who is involved in burglary case of PS Pahar Ganj, Delhi would come near DBG Road Jhandewalan, Pahar Ganj, Delhi. On this, a trap was laid near Jhandewalan, Pahar Ganj, Delhi. At about 8:15 p.m., one suspicious person was seen and on the pointing out of the informer, accused person was apprehended by the police team.

INTERROGATION

During interrogation, accused person revealed his identity as Deepak @ Raj s/o Mahesh Chand Gupta r/o Vagabond, Kashmere Gate, Delhi. Initially, he did not confess his involvement in the commission of burglary but during sustained interrogation finally he broke down and confessed his involvement in the commission of the burglary of PS Pahar Ganj, which had taken place on 7-6-2012 in broad day light. He further revealed that in guise of a rag picker he used to select his target and used to commit burglary in broad day light. At the instance of accused Deepak, one diamond necklace, one gold chain, four pair pajeb and one pair gold ear rings have been recovered from his possession. On verification, it was found that accused Deepak has previously been involved in eight cases of burglary of P.S. Mandir Marg, P.S. Nabi Karim, PS Pahar Ganj and PS DBG Road, Delhi.

Further, on 20-06-2012, a secret information was received at Police Station Pahar Ganj, Delhi that one accused person, who was involved in burglary cases of PS Pahar Ganj, Delhi, would come near Railway Colony, Vasant Road, Pahar Ganj to dispose off the stolen articles. On this, a trap was laid near Railway Colony, Vasant Road, Pahar Ganj, Delhi. At about 9:15 p.m., one person was roaming in suspicious condition and on the pointing out of the informer, he was apprehended by the police team.

During interrogation, accused person revealed his identity as Vicky @ Lokesh s/o Bhagwan Dass r/o G-99, Bakkarwala JJ Colony, Delhi. On sustained interrogation, he confessed his involvement in the commission of two cases of burglary of PS Pahar Ganj, which took place on 15-06-2012 and 18-06-2012 in broad day light. At the instance of accused Vicky, three cameras worth Rs. six lakhs, jewellery worth Rs. Seven lakhs, LCD TV, Reliance Set top box and some cosmetic items have been recovered from his possession. On verification, it was found that accused Vicky @ Lokesh has previously been involved in two cases of burglary of PS Pahar Ganj and PS Mandir Marg, Delhi.

Further investigation / interrogation is in progress. Efforts are also being made to arrest their accomplices.

PRICE OF COCAINE IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET APPROXIMATELY RS. 1 CRORE AND 25 LAKHS.

A team of officers of the Crime Branch led by Inspr. Vivek Pathak consisting of SI Sunil Jain, HC Omprakash, HC Rohtash, HC Mukesh, HC Yogesh under the supervision of ACP Bir Singh and overall supervision of Addl. DCP/Crime Bhisham Singh have apprehended a person involved in trafficking of drugs and have recovered 125 Gms of Cocaine. The Cocaine recovered is worth Rs.1 Crore and 25 Lakhs (Approximately) in the International Market.

Information was received on 19/06/2012 by SI Sunil Jain that a person involved in supplying of cocaine in Mumbai would be coming near Bus Stop Palam Mor, Palam Airport Road, Delhi to deliver the consignment of Cocaine to his contact. On this information a trap was laid and a person was apprehended. He was identified as Murtza Khan (aged 42 years) s/o Abdul Aziz Khan r/o Flat No. 301, Ganga Complex, KausarBuilding, Meera Road, Mumbai. 125 gms of Cocaine was recovered from his possession. A case under the appropriate sections of the NDPS Act was registered at PS Crime Branch.

Murtza Khan was subjected to intensive examination. It was revealed that he was born and brought up in Mumbai and studied up to SeniorSecondary School. About 20 years ago he went to Dubai to earn money and to assist his family financially. He had worked in Dubai as Computer Hardware Engineer in different firms. In the year 2006, he winded up from Dubai and shifted to Mumbai permanently. In Mumbai he started working as an independent hardware Engineer. Last year due to family dispute his wife divorced him. This affected him badly and landed him in financial crisis. About Six months back, Naved, one of his distant relative who was indulged in supplying of drugs to his clients in different part of the country offered Murtza Khan to be an associate in his illicit trade. To earn quick money Murtza Khan agreed for the same and started supplying of Cocaine to the clients of Naved. On 19.06.2012, on the directions of Naved he came to Delhi from Mumbai in evening flight and the cocaine to deliver the consignment.

Further investigation of the case is in progress.

Two persons involved in trafficking of Ganja (Marijuana) arrested.

40 KGs of Ganja recovered.

A team of officers of Railway Police led by W/Inspr. Meera Sharma, SHO/New Delhi Rly. Station and consisting of SI Jagmal, Ct. Pramod Kumar and Ct. Satyajeet Singh under the supervision of ACP Gurbachan Singh and overall supervision of Addl. DCP/Railway Sanjay Bhatia have apprehended two persons involved in trafficking of drugs and have recovered 40 kg of Ganja.

On 19.06.2012 SI Jagmal Singh along with Ct. Pramod Kumar and Ct. Satyajeet Singh were on patrolling at New Delhi Railway Station. At about 7.05 AM when they reached at Platform No. 2/3 of New Delhi Rly. Station, they found that two persons having four bags (two each) with them were coming to Delhi End side. On suspicion, SI Jagmal Singh stopped them with the help of patrolling party. On questioning they disclosed their names as Uttapalla Guravaish (aged 30 years) s/o Jamalaish r/o Vijaywada Rusal, Nannua Nunnakrishna, Andhra Pradesh and ii) Lingmurthy Goda (aged 24 years) s/o Shambu r/o 3-135 Gundenga, Gundenga, Block-3 Gudura (Mandae) Warangal, Andhra Pradesh. On checking of the four bags 40 Kgs of Ganja was recovered from their possession. Both the persons were arrested and a case under the appropriate sections of the NDPS Act was registered at PS New Delhi Railway Station.

Both the accused persons were subjected to intensive examination. It was revealed that they are permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh. At Andhra Pradesh some one met him and asked them to take four bags with them to Delhi for this he offered them to get Rs. 3000/- each. They agreed for the same and carried four bags to Delhi and on suspicion they were apprehended at New Delhi Rly. Station.

The staff of Police Station Kirti Nagar, West District has busted a gang of Suraj Anna, dacoits by arresting their four members. One of their accomplices managed to escape from the spot. With their arrest the police has averted a dacoity planned by the gang.

RECOVERY MADE

  1. Four Button operated knives.

INFORMATION/OPERATION

On 19.06.2012, a secret information was received from secret source that a gang of dacoits was planning to commit a dacoity in a Show Room in the area of PS Kirti Nagar. Immediately, a team consisting of Inspr. Kishore Kumar, Insp. Braj Mohan, SI Mohd Haroon, SI Nathu Lal, PSI Parkash Chand, HC Mahender Kumar No. 2087/W, HC Upender Kr 332/W, HC Ravinder Kumar 1750/W, Ct.Rajender singh 907/W, Ct.Satbir Singh No. 3326/W Ct. Premveer 2907/W, Ct. Satywan No.997/W and Ct. Amit Kumar No.2789/W headed by SHO/Kirti Nagar and under the supervision of Sh. Raj Singh, ACP/ Rajouri Garden was constituted to apprehend them.

SI Mohd Haroon with the help of Ct. Rajender Singh No.907/W developed this information further and the secret informer gave information that dacoits would be assembling at GuruTegBahadurPark, Kirti Nagar for committing armed Dacoity in the area of P.S. Kirti Nagar . On receipt of this concrete information, the team which was reconstituted for the operation took its position in the park and HC Mahender Kumar No. 2087/W in civil cloths was asked to listen the planning of dacoits. HC Mahender Kumar No.2087/W was given prior instruction that if any planning of commission of Dacoity is heard by him then a pre decided signal was to be given to the team. HC Mahender Kumar No.2087/W after listening the conversation gave the pre decided signal to the team and at this stage all the team members apprehended four persons namely Suraj, Murgesh @ Murga, Ranganathan and Prabhakar @ Prabhu while their fifth accomplice managed to escape from the spot. On the search of above accused persons, four Button operated knives were recovered from their possession. On sustained interrogation of accused persons, it came to light that all the accused persons had assembled at the park to commit a dacoity at a leading Show Room situated at Kirti Nagar. All the above cited accused persons are habitual offenders and have criminal involvements in their names.
