INFORMATION
This is a round trip for the fit. The trip will take most of the day and are cycled through beautiful coastal scenery, where you pass small villages and communities.
The trip from Hardbakke to Krakhella give an average of natural diversity and the inhabitants in Solund.
The ferry from Krakhella to Rutledal go from the east of Solund to the neighboring municipality of Gulen.
On the trip between Rutledal and Mjømna you can take a detour to Skjerjehamn where a King statue stands, and where there is a cafe for a bite to eat and rest.
The boat trip from Mjømna to Nåra is a wonderful journey among the islands and reefs. It would be wise to take a packed lunch for the whole tour, but there are several grocery stores along the route so that you can buy something to eat if you do not choose to bring your own food. On the bike trip between Nåra and Haldorsneset you can take a nice dinner at Havkroa in Hjønnevåg but then you must take a ferry later from Haldorsneset. The crossing thebetween Haldorsneset and Daløy go in the main shipping lane for shipps going north-south along the coast, so here it is possible to see ships of many kinds.
On the trip between Daløy and Hardbakke you bike up on hills in several places with fine views over the narrow straits of Solund. On Hardbakke you can end the trip with a good dinner after a long day on the bike. It is wise to bring some warm clothes and possibly rain clothes for the ride when the weather can change fast.
