Title: New DLOGON Icon for laptops

What is Impacted: CWS/CMS Dial-up users

Describe Impact: In preparation for the New Microsoft Dial-up solution, IBM will push a new DLOGON icon to all laptops. Please refer to page 15 of the Remote Access Migration Guide for information and instructions on running DLOGON. Be advised that dial-up will not work if DLOGON is not utilized when using the Microsoft Dial-up solution.

This shortcut will be pushed the morning of March 2, 2006 resulting in a new icon being placed on the laptop users desktop after logging into the network. It is recommended that the laptops be brought in and connected to the LAN prior to March 23, 2006 to receive this icon. For laptops that are not brought in before March 23rd, access to the CWS/CMS application by dial-up users may be impacted.

Some Co-Existent counties that do not use the CWS/CMS image may not receive this icon. If this occurs, a shortcut can be created by having the county manually run DLOGON by clicking Start->Run and typing "c:¥dlogon.vbs" then OK or by browsing to the root of C: and double-clicking on DLOGON.VBS.

NOTE: This shortcut is not required when using the AT&T Net Dialer.
