CVC Asia Pacific Limited

Our Hong Kong office is looking to hire qualified calibres to join the team. Our off-cycle internship program offers an opportunity to work in the Private Equity business by taking on some of the responsibilities and functions of a Full-time Investment Professional for a short period at CVC. The internship typically lasts for three months, but can vary in length depending on business needs and candidate availability. Interns are expected to assist the team in analysing investment opportunities and making investment decisions. Trainings on basic financial and technical skills will be provided over the course.

Responsibilities of the Role

  • Conduct research, analysis and evaluation of a variety of private equity investment opportunities as well as contribute to the overall evaluation process
  • Contribute to the development of investment recommendations based on the results of the team’s due diligence and analysis
  • Participate in drafting various presentation materials and memos for both internal and external purposes
  • Assist in due diligence, including past and projected financial performance, quality of management, investment merits and risks, regulatory environment, industry dynamics, company’s competitiveness and other relevant drivers

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency across Excel / PowerPoint / Word
  • Excellent organisational and skills
  • A team player, self-driven and able to work independently
  • Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin is essential
  • Degree-level education; Final year students or recent graduates of Commerce / Finance / Accounting majorpreferred
  • GPA at 3.3 above and those who are in their last or penultimate year of study
  • Prior internship experience at investment banks or accounting firms preferred
