CV OF DR. ALLAN P. BROWN

Dr. Allan P. Brown is Professor and Chair of the division of Ministerial Education at God’s Bible College in Cincinnati, Ohio. an interdenominational Evangelical school.

He received his MA (1969) and PhD (1975) from Bob Jones University. His PhD is in Old Testament interpretation, with an emphasis in Hebrew and Old Testament theology. His dissertation topic was The Theology of Hosea.

In addition to his teaching ministry, he planted three growing churches and has been a pastor for over twenty-five years. He has ministered and taught throughout the world, including a year (1989-90) at Peking University, China. Other places of ministry include the Bahamas, Philippines, Canada, South Africa, Lesotho, Guatemala, Korea, Israel, Egypt, Ukraine, Northern Ireland, Haiti, Guam, Siapan, and Papua New Guinea.

He has been happily married for almost 40 years (June 9, 1967) to Nadine M. Brown and has two married sons, Philip (35) and Nathan 32), and 3 ½ grandchildren. Nadine has her PhD in Zoology and presently is engaged in Cancer research at the Children’s Hospital Research Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. His oldest son, Philip, has his PhD in Old Testament and is a member of the Ministerial faculty at God’s Bible College. His youngest son, Nathan, is a Mechanical Engineer employed with Southern Company. Nathan is actively involved in his local Bible Methodist church in Birmingham, Alabama.
