Personal Skills and Competencies / During the different working experiences - in particular at financial institutions of primary importance - I have gained experiences and abilities of project management, technical and functional analysis, development and management of processes, databases and software applications of various functional and technological nature through activities of organization, planning, design, programming, testing, documentation, operation and maintenance, with application development in typical languages of the banking world such as COBOL, SQL and JCL. Artistic skills and competencies / Excellent expressive capacity both in oral and written form. In the course of the years, in addition to having published several articles on some magazines at national distribution level within the framework of so-called "researches of frontier" and having covered the role of spokesman in a couple of conferences, I also wrote and published a historical novel freely available on the Internet (“LA VERDE GUERRA DI PAPÀ - Diario di un Figlio della Lupa vissuto a Taranto nei duri anni della Seconda Guerra Mondiale” that stands for“THE GREEN WAR OF DAD– DiarY of a Son of the She-Wolf who lived in Taranto in the difficult years of the Second World War”, verdeguerra.fabiosiciliano.it) and buyable for Kindle on Amazon, I finally maintain a blog (fabiosiciliano.wordpress.com), where I deal mainly about the themes of my researches. In addition, at the times of the high school and university I was part of a couple of not professionals pop musical groups, where I had the role of singer and guitarist of accompainment.
Other Skills and Competences / / In addition to the technical skills acquired in the mainframe world (MVS, TSO, COBOL, CICS, DB2 and of course SQL and JCL, as well as some experiences on DL/1, IMS and VSAM), I have a solid knowledge and familiarity in PC, in particular as regards different operating systems (DOS, OS/2, Windows and some experience with some LINUX distributions), languages and relational databases (BASIC, C, Clarion, DBIII, HTML, XHTML, PHP, Javascript, CSS), office applications (Access, Excel, Powerpoint and Word as regards Microsoft, as well as the corresponding approach, 123, Freelance and WordPro in Lotus Smartsuite and Base, Calc, Impress and Writer in Open Office), security tools (Norton Internet Security), photo retouching (Jasc and Corel PaintShop Pro), development of web sites (CMS Joomla! and WordPress: see for example cooperativagioele.it, luciobarile.com) and miscellaneous utility for features more varied in the management of the system and in the treatment of documents. Furthermore, both for personal passion and professional reasons,I code habitually in VBA, Liberty BASIC and, more restrictively, BCX and C.
Other information worthy of note / Convinced animalist as valiant defender of the rights of the weakest, in the course of the years I have adjusted every my behaviour consistent with this principle, observing accordingly a diet strictly vegetarian. I do not smoke and I have never made use of substances that even only potentially could damage my health or that of those who surround me. Contractual
Framework / The preferred contractual framework, saved every other possible and different proposal still to be evaluated, including the eventual possibility of a long-time recruitment, is that of a professional relationship of freelance consulting as a self-employed person under the regime of VAT and withholding tax, without the constraints of subordination nor time, with the imperative request of maximum punctuality and reliability in payments, with expiry thereof not later than 60 days from the date of invoice.
