Culture and Innovation Trainee
Position summary:
IDEA Consult is offering a traineeship work placement to recent graduates or students in their last year to start in September 2016. We are looking for individuals that are analytical, highly motivated and are considering a career in the fast-paced world of consulting.
IDEA Consult offers a comprehensive internship program design to challenge students, impart valuable skills, and offer insight into a career path in the consulting industry. Highlights include hands-on project work, a great work environment, and access to mentorship and networking opportunities. Throughout the course of the internship, you will be working closely with the project manager and senior consultants to support system management tools, develop interactive designs and build audience development related to crowdfunding for culture.
Will you be our new colleague?
You are a graduate or master degree student, preferably with a specialisation in communications, multimedia design, new media or digital culture.
You have experience with system management tools, design and audience development, preferably in the areas of innovation, competitiveness and the creative economy (including competitiveness of cultural and creative sectors).
You have very good analytical skills.
You can communicate fluently in Dutch,English and/orFrench. Good knowledge ofother languagesis an asset.
You have strong presentation and communication skills.
You are a team player, but you can equally work well independently.
You are available to work full time for at least 4 months starting from September 2016.
What you will do for us and our clients
You will be part of the “Competitiveness and Innovation” team of around 15 researchers and experts. You will supportboth our team andour clients in the areassystem management tools, develop interactive designs and build audience development related to culture.
More specifically, together with a team of IDEA Consult experts, you will contribute to the development of an information hub on crowdfunding for the cultural and creative sectors in the context of an EU funded project. The project will run till summer 2017.
The following tasks and responsibilities will be part of your work:

Support audience development and community building strategies
Build/expand website
Write social media posts
