Dear George,

You have been selected by the Cook College Leadership Committee on Academics and Teaching/Advising Excellence as a recipient of our award recognizing outstanding teaching, advising and support for student life clubs and organizations. As a part of the ongoing student leadership activities, Cook College student leaders feel that it is important to recognize those individuals at Cook College who provide valuable leadership to students through their efforts in teaching, advising and work with Student Life organizations. Your selection is based upon the following three criteria:

1. Leadership student nomination

2.Advising students on academic concerns, as well as Student Life clubs and organizations, and

3.Outstanding student teaching evaluations of your teaching, as documented by the RutgersUniversity

Teaching Evaluation.

In order to provide public recognition of your teaching and advising efforts to Cook College, we would like you to be our guest at the Annual Recognition Dinner to be held on Tuesday, May 2nd, in the Hale Center located on the Busch Campus overlooking the Rutgers Football Stadium. The banquet will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be held in conjunction with our Student Life Senior and Faculty/Staff Leadership Recognition Dinner. Please feel free to invite one guest to this program. When responding to this invitation, please give the name of the person that will be attending as your guest.

Senior students participating in the Cook College Leadership Program and other faculty and staff leaders will be invited to the banquet in order for us to recognize their accomplishments and to thank them for the time and effort they have given to make CookCollege a most enjoyable place for education, growth, and development. A CookCollege student member of our Leadership Academics Committee will be contacting you and meeting with you prior to May 2nd, so that he or she may properly introduce you at the Tuesday evening program. As a part of the Awards Program, you will be provided with approximately a two-minute period of time where you should feel free to comment.

Please respond to Barbara Sykulski (932-9429) by Friday, April 28th, to confirm your participation. Thanks, and Congratulations!

Sincerely,

Lee D. Schneider
