  1. Matters Arising

i)5 mph sign for track. Quote from Ken White signs for £170 each. Richard offered to research cheaper options. Marcus will produce a form to circulate to users of the fields asking if they will contribute to the CCA on a regular basis to go towards this type of purchase. Ashley will produce a similar card.

ii)Ashley has the dog signs to be put around the fields and will make enquiries at Labdons for boards.

Iii)Flailing had been done. Jenny to contact Richard Batten for the ditches to be cleared.

  1. Finance

Total in Bank – 30.11.17 - £5520.88

Total in Bank – 31.12.17 - £6496.99

£950 had been received towards the 10% needed towards the Viridor Grant. Thanks to all who donated.

  1. Correspondence

Email from Judy Smith asking if the CCA wanted a stall at the Community Centre for the Spring Fest on 14th April. Jenny to ask if we can have a stall in the Bullring.

  1. Chairman’s Business

(i)New Tractor Mower has been delivered. Jenny to contact our Insurance Company for a new quote. Richard will make enquiries about a Tracker.

(ii)Picnic Tables had been delivered and Ian will put them up early Spring.

(iii)Exeter Dog Show had signed the Contract and will be using the fields from 24th-28th May.

(iv)Rospa check will be carried out on the play area during March.

(v)Classic Car Show – no response to emails.

(vi)Funland Fun Fair will be using the small field again 22th April – 19th May.

(vii)John Lawson Circus will be in the main field 23rd-25th July.

  1. Any Other Business

Richard said the collecting box in the Golden Lion is full and they want another one.

Co-op Local Community Fund - % of sale of Co-op products will go towards CCA.

Jenny to contact MDDC to see whether we can have a Recycling Bin to take bottles and cans, to be based Tesco end.

RSPB big bird watch 27-29th January – Ashley will be monitoring in the fields and all are welcome to join him.

Ashley had a photo of the CCA fields in this week’s Gazette.

Bridge between the two football fields had been repaired.

Jenny to contact Iain Emmett regarding the missing rubbish bin in the top field.
