  1. Chair’s Welcome

Chas welcomed all attendee’s:-

2014 AGM saw the existing committee re-elected unopposed and was followed by Steve Bishop commending the current committee as being very active, laying the foundation for being a great Area Association.

Chas and Debbie attended National Conference in Birmingham and Chas attended recruitment day in Leeds. Bernie attended Spring Regional Conference and Beshlie Autumn conference in Bradford.

Is this something Leeds area needs toencourage? No requests received from members to help in any sporting activities.

Feedback Yorkshire Region

Tony Tate reported Region had received excellent feedback from members who attended Potters caravan holidays as a Region event. Debbie referred the Leeds member to Yorkshire Region, who took this event on board and the event was fully subscribed.

Treasurer’s Report & Adoption of Accounts?

Steve Bishop produced a detailed account of the Leeds Association financial situation (attached).The 2014 grant payment was £18,010.44, of which £3,602.09 was retained as the payment to Yorkshire Region. The balance of our account on the bank statement at 31 December 2014 was £866.59 (although that doesn’t take account of unpresented cheques).

Leeds area has managed the finances within the region boundaries and no monies will be recouped by head office.

Steve thanked Wendy Bartholomew who did a brilliant job on the balance sheet.

Steve Bishop tabled the Income and Expenditure Accounts and Balance Sheet for 2014, which had been kindly audited by accountant Wendy Bartholomew.There is a balancing error of £37 on the accounts, therefore the accounts presented for approval are provisional pending investigation of this error by Steve and Wendy. Adele Hirst moved that these accounts be accepted by the membership, Debbie Johnson seconded the motion and the meeting duly approved the accounts for submission to the centre.

5. Election of Officer’s

Chair – Chas Ward elected unopposed

Treasurer – Steve Bishop elected unopposed

Secretary – DebbieJohnson elected unopposed.

Adele Hirst, Keith Gorst, Darren Fellows, Bernadette Murrayand Beshlie Squires stood for re-election to the committee as voting members, and were elected unopposed. Apologies received from Darren Fellows stood for re-election to the committee as a voting member, and was elected unopposed. Ann Jones Bishop stood to the committee as a new voting member, she was elected unopposed and was warmly welcomed by the committee .

6. Election of Auditor

Wendy Bartholomew elected unopposed. Wendy was not present at the meeting.
