Hotel Corporation of India Limited, referred as ‘HCIL’, a wholly owned subsidiary of “Air India Ltd” invites sealed quotation in single bid i.e. price bid only ranging from Rs. 350/- to Rs. 500/- from the Manufacturers of Leather Shoes for the supply of subject item as under at Chefair Flight Catering, Mumbai. Shoes should be of good quality, decent looking office type, should not be too pointed or too broad.

You are requested to submit your sealed quotation on or before due date 25.05.2016 up to 1530 hrs. to Chefair Flight Catering, Opp. ITC Grand Maratha, Sahar Road, Andheri (E), Mumbai-400 099.
Please write the Tender No., Date, Due date, Name of your Company, Contact person’s name, E-mail ID and Contact no. on the envelope.
If Taxes/Levies/Octroi and other details are not mentioned in your price bid, then it will be treated as net price/all inclusive which may please be noted.
Quotes /offers should be valid for a period of 90 days for consideration of HCIL from the date of opening of the quotations.
Sample: You are required to submit one sample of Leather Shoes, With lace & Without lace on returnable basis vide your delivery challan. Kindly indicate your brand name which you are manufacturing, forward us the copy of certificate for the same along with quotation.

Evaluation of Sample: Samples will be evaluated by our User Department.
Price Bid Opening: The Price Bid of only those Tenderers/Bidder, whose samples are found suitable / ok by our User Department will be opened. Date and time will be advised to the qualifying vendors only. No enquiries/correspondence shall be entertained inthis regard.
Determination of L1 vendor: L1 vendor will be determined on the basis on lowest landed cost for both type of shoes.
Delivery of Shoes: The successful vendor will have to deliver the shoes exactly as per the samples they have submitted along with the quotation.
Delivery Schedule: Entire quantity should be delivered within 30 days of approval of production sample.
Delivery address: Chefair Flight Catering, CSI Airport, Sahar Road, Andheri (East), Mumbai- 400 099.
Inspection at the time of delivery: The goods supplied will be inspected by our User Department before accepting the delivery. Defective, Toned, Wrong Size & Poor Quality of the shoe will be rejected and the same should be replaced without any additional cost.
Payment Term: 30 days by cheque.
Security Deposit:You are required to furnish a Security Deposit amount of 5% of the PurchaseOrder value for a period of 6 months.
Prices: Price quoted by the vendor should remain firm till the completion of Purchase Order/delivery. No request for increase in price during the contract period will be entertained.
Arbitration: Subsequent to award of contract against this Tender, any dispute or differences, whatsoever arising between the parties out of or relating to the construction, interpretation, application, meaning, scope, operation or effect of the Contract / Service Agreement or validity or the breach thereof, which despite best efforts cannot be amicably settled between the parties shall be referred to ``SCOPE FORUM OF CONCILIATION AND ARBITRATION – GOVT OF INDIA`` and the award made in pursuance thereof shall be binding on the parties to the arbitration.
Jurisdiction: The construction, interpretation, validity and performance of such Contract/Agreement shall be governed by the laws of land of India. Any disputes arising out of implementation of the Contract between HCIL and Service Provider whatsoever shall be subject to the Jurisdiction of Mumbai Courts Only.

Exit clause / termination of the contract/agreement: The Contract may be terminated under the following circumstances:
a) “HCIL” may at any time terminate the Contract with immediate effect by giving written notice to the Tenderer/ Bidder, if Bidder becomes bankrupt or otherwise insolvent, provided that such termination will not prejudice or affect any right of action or remedy which has accrued or will accrue thereafter to “HCIL”. In this case no compensation shall be made available to the Bidder/Tenderer.
b) In case of unsatisfactory performance or breach of any of the clauses of this Contract, HCIL shall issue a notice of 30 days to the party to rectify the breach and improve the performance failing which HCIL shall be at liberty to terminate the Contract/Agreement by providing a 30 days written notice to the party. The Tenderer/Bidder shall not have any right to dispute or question the judgment of ‘HCIL” on its unsatisfactory performance.
