Jack Kemph writes, “God is great! All lab values are doing extremely well. One addition, Dr. Adler wants to review the original scans as right now he and the radiologist do not see a tumor. Nothing is pressing against the blood vessel and there may be some dead tissue or a water pocket in the general area but cannot find a tumor. You and all the prayer warriors have my case before the Lord.” Praise the Lord!

Michael Kok is getting closer to finding a match for the transplant he needs. Please keep crying out to God to ask for the right match to be found.

Suzanne Heffington writes, “Would you please include in “those expecting little ones”, our daughter Margaret Lindi. She and Jason are expecting a baby girl in March – we never take a healthy baby for granted! I also know Holly and Blake have been on the list a long time, but prayer is still needed there for them and both families, Harris and Hamric.”

on Friday. Please cover the Hollingsworth family with your prayers,

Funeral Home in Leeds. Let us surround this family and love them through

these difficult days.

* Those that attended 2nd service cried out to God for Phillip

Knight, Mary Snider's son. Phillip has been diagnosed with oral cancer and

Lane, Calera, AL 35040.

Please pray for Philip and Sarah as they raise their little bundle of joy!

* Leah Eagle writes, "Lots of people have been asking me if they can

do anything for my sister. Besides prayers, I know she would appreciate

cards. Her address is: Paula Duncan, 5528 Surrey Lane, Birmingham, AL

35242." Paula continues to fight cancer. Please keep praying.

Brad Troxler writes the following regarding Cathy, “The apt went okay. It was a crazy day. Some good news, some not as good. Bad news first: Cathy will need radiation therapy and the surgeries will be in two parts. Good news the MRI showed great changes in response to the chemo. All in all pretty pummeled today. Thanks for your love & prayers.” Let us continue to cry out to God for the Troxler’s.

Wayne Dill continues to recover from knee surgery. Please pray for healing for him.

We need to pray for Greg Johnston as he cares for his aunt and uncle in Sheffield. His uncle has Alzheimer’s and Greg found his aunt unresponsive when he visited last week. Greg writes, “We really appreciate the prayers for my aunt and uncle. She continues to be in the psychiatric unit with a great deal of mental issues. We have our first meeting with the unit's psychiatrist Monday at noon. Hopefully we will learn more then. Susan and I arranged for two people to sit with my uncle yesterday so we could come to Birmingham and get more clothes. I had one of my uncle's good friends scheduled for the 8pm Saturday to 8am Sunday shift. That worked until about 10:30 last night when my uncle wanted to go to bed and insisted that his friend leave. His friend called me and said he would have to leave. I tried to reason with my uncle but to no avail. I know better than to argue with an Alzheimer's patient but I did anyway. Bottom line is Susan and I drove back to Sheffield and I arrived at his house around 12:45 this morning. Fortunately, he was sleeping soundly and I did not wake him. Onward to another day! I do have a specific prayer request. Pray that God will open the right doors for placement in the right care setting for both of them. That is my concern right now. Thanks for your prayers. We love you, Greg and Susan”

Carol Stettheimer writes, “I am thankful for any and all prayers on behalf of my cousin's son, Caleb. Thanks be to God that he has made significant progress this week. His medical team is even discussing the possibility of moving him to a rehab hospital in the next few weeks. While he is not strong enough for the bone marrow transplant yet, there is increasing reason to hope that he will get there. We all appreciate continued prayers for intestines that work, further resolution of this crisis, and eventual healing from leukemia.”

Julie LeNoir writes, “Can you please send out a prayer request for Kate? She is continuing to decline more & more and we are really worried about her. Please pray for GOD to move his hand and lead her doctor and/or us as to what would help her.” Let us all cry out to God for Kate.

Joe Lenoir writes, “Could you please ask the church to lift up my father Clyde LeNoir in prayer? As you know he has been going through chemo and he fractured a vertebra in his lower back several weeks ago and is now in the hospital. The neurosurgeon will see him and possibly perform some type of surgery depending on severity. Please pray that the Drs. perform the correct procedures and pain management for him and that they have wisdom & a steady hand. Pray for a full recovery of the back and cancer.”

Lisa Wortmann asked us to renew prayer efforts for healing for Katie. Please pray for her health.

Debbie McCaleb writes, “I need to give you an update on my parents, Guerry and Virginia Pirkle. Daddy is finishing the end of three weeks of rehab for a broken hip and will be going home on Monday. They did find out that he had been suffering from seizures rather than having had a stroke and he is now on medication for that. Neither he nor Mother will be getting around very well as her leg has not completely healed since she broke it in December. So, taking care of Daddy will be quite challenging. Please continue to remember them in your prayers!”

Amanda Jackson writes, “I would like to request prayers for my Father, Don Jackson. He is going through many struggles and could sure use some prayer warriors.”

Sadly before delivery, the baby has gone to be with Jesus. Please cover the Harris’ with your prayers and lift up the Heffington’s as they grieve and minister. The Harris’ attend at Homewood so pray for that church family as they surround this family with their love. It is in moments like these where we grieve- but we grieve with hope.

Steve Lawrence writes, “On the prayer list, please add my mom Darlene next to my dad. Dad is doing well. He is going to get a full body scan to find out where the cancer is left in his body. He has aged a lot from all the treatments. My mom has recently had a lot of health related issues, but seems to be doing a lot better.”
