Specialty Show - 29/10/16
May I thank the Committee for their kind invitation to judge at the Trophy Show October 2016. It was a great pleasure and many thanks to all the helpers from landing in Australia and during my stay, it was greatly appreciated.
Baby Puppy Dog
1st - BullalarisSpanky (Br/Wh) Very smart little boy. Would like to see again in six months.
2nd - Kahmins Fire Ball (White) Delightful baby with great potential
3rd - Kahmins Fire Chaser (Br/Wh) - Another lovely baby
4th - Kahmins Fire Starter (Bl/Br/Wh) has a slight mismark but still delightful to go over.
Judges comment - I must point out its a great pleasure to go over so young a bunch, but as they change so quickly its hard to asses. What with missing teeth to spurts in growth.
Minor Puppy Dog
1st - Willown Turn Back Time (Br/Wh) - Nice little man with potential, but needs to settle. Difficult to assess movement. Needs to mature.
Junior Dog
1st - Minibull Mr Pinto (Bl/Br/Wh) - very timid little man. Not very happy in the ring. Needs to settle and mature. But did move away well from the table.
Intermediate Dog
1st - Bullalaris Fall Out Boy (White) - Good width of head with fill down face and correct mouth. Strong well made with good spring of rib. Straight front held his topline on the move. Good bend of stifle and second thigh. Moved well.
2nd - BulambriasNightfire (Bl/Br/Wh) - Bice head and good ear placing, would liked to see more fill in profile. Mouth undershot. Good well sprung ribs and top line but lost a little on the move. Handled well.
Australian Bred Dog
1st - Stonesour Denim Moon (Bl/Br/Wh) What an eye catcher from entering the ring. What a true mini should look and behave like. Just oozed all the right things for me. Small, well made, good head. Short back, well sprung ribs and depth. Moved with purpose around the ring. Handled well. Well deserved BOB.Dog CC and Best in Show
2nd - HuliaIm a Tiger(Br/Wh) - Another well made little man. Good spring of rib, level top line and plenty of bone.Reserve Dog CC
3rd - Caitsam Mini Moonglow (White) - Head good down face but lacking fill and width. Moved well, good second thigh and angulations. Handled well.
Open Dog
1st - Gr Ch Rhugar Wonder Boy Wally (Tri) - Smart little man. Nice reach of neck and good head. Plenty of fill and downface. Well sprung ribs and depth of brisket, short backed and good angulation. Moved well.
2nd - AvindieJokerman (Br/Wh) - another well made young man. Strong well turned head, good ear placement. Short back and good topline. Well sprung ribs and second thigh.
Baby Puppy Bitch
1st - Alcaneeka Gold Dust Woman(White) - Really lovely baby, in the middle of teething so not happy with being handled by a stranger. Possesses a lot of potential.
2nd - Kahmins Evocative(White) - sorry for repeating myself , but once again great potential when she matures up.
3rd - Kahmins Fire Twirler (White) - hard to go over mouth sore and needs to settle and mature.
4th - KahminsScandalus (White) - handled well but needs to mature.
Judges Comment - Four delightful little girls, I am sure it will be very hard to separate them in a few months time.
Puppy Bitch
1st - Belikov Pure Karma (White) - delightful young lady. Solidly made for one so young. Good width of head and down face. Nice reach of neck and short back. Well boned and doog angulation. Moved well with drive, both ways.
2nd - Dabews Wee Kerry (Br/Wh) - Sound little lady. Head could do with a little more fill and a little stuffy in neck. Fair bone and structure. Needs to mature up. Moved fair when settled.
3rd - Willown Big Girls Dont Cry (Bl/Br/Wh) - Well made baby. Plenty of fill to head. Good eye placement. Nice reach of neck leading into well laid shoulders. A little on the large size for my liking. Handled well.
Junior Bitch
1st - BelikovDemi Rose (Solid Red) - Small and compact. Good width of head and down face, but would benefit from a little more fill. Ear placement good and used to her advantage. Well sprung ribs and depth of brisket. Short back and good angulations. Moved a little close on the drive. Handled well.
2nd - Hulia Cheeky Monkey (Br/Wh) - A delightful mini, but needs to body up and mature. Movement a little close behind.
3rd - Suthnstar Heart of Gold (White/eye patch) - Head a little long and lacking width. Nice reach of neck, well laid shoulders, short back and good topline. Plenty of angulations and movement better on the drive.
Intermediate Bitch
1st Ch Kahmins Electric Skies(AI) (Bl/Br/Wh) - Solid well balanced lady, in good condition. Head could do with a little more fill. Good reach of neck. Well sprung ribs and depth. Top-line good but lost a little on move. Moved well both ways.Reserve Bitch Challenge
2nd - Kahmins Oriental Moon (White) - Well developed head and down face. Kind eye. Plenty of bone. Well developed spring of rib and straight front. Short back. Moved well. Handled well.
3rd - Scarlettoro Miss Angelfire (Wh/Red) - Good head nice down face in profile, but lacking fill. Well sprung ribs and straight front. Short back and second thigh. A little light on bone. Moved well.
4th - Stonesour Party Tricks (Br/Wh) - Pleasant little girl. Good head but again lacking fill. Kind eye, good eye placement. Moved and handled well.
Australian Bred Bitch
1st - KahminsSupa Nova (white/ear patch) - Well developed head and down face. Kind eye. Plenty of bone. Well developed sprung rib. Short back. Moved well. Handled well.
2nd - Bullalaris Atomic Kitty (White) - Good well developed head and down face. Well sprung ribs, good topline but lost it on the move. A little light on bone. Good angulations and second thigh.
3rd - Ch Bulltacho Bright Eyes Burning (Br/Wh) - Good head and down face. Nice reach of neck. A little upright in shoulders. Good spring of ribs and depth. Short back, level top line but lost a little on the move.
4th - Sariluda Betty Boop(Wh/Red) - Nice head with plenty of fill and good eye placement. Nice reach of neck, straight front and well sprung ribs. Moved well.
Open Bitch
1st - Kahmins Bohemian Summer (AI) - Another delightful eye catcher. Lovely well finished head. Straight front. Well sprung ribs and short back. Plenty of bone and good bend of stifle. Pushed hard for best of breed.Bitch CC and RU Best in Show
2nd - Hulia Ginger Crunch - Another well developed bitch. Good head, well sprung ribs, straight front. Short back moved well both ways lost out to one on size .
3rd - Ch Bulltacho Our Girl Tess - Pretty lady. Good turn of head and fill. Straight front and depth of brisket. Moved well. Would have liked a little more bone.
4th - NobulPutablingonit (AI) Fair head a little long. Good eye placement and ear carriage. Short back. Moved and handled well.
