Credits for contributions to Educational entities

as of 2011 tax year, donations must be made in MONEY (CASH OR CHECK:

Credit is the Lesser of:

50% of tax on Form 40, line 21, OR

ONE-HALF of the amounts donated, OR

$500 ($1000 on joint return), OR

The tax on Form 40, line 21 less the amount on Form 40, line 22.

A nonprofit corp, fund, foundation, research park, trust organized/operated for benefit of Idaho colleges and universities;

Nonprofit, private, public Idaho school or its foundation;

Public TV or radio;

Idaho Historical society or foundation;

Idaho library, library district, foundation;

Idaho public or private nonprofit museum
