The Arts + Sciences Creativity Camp is a day-camp where the arts staff guide children in learning through the arts – all human being’s first language. Learning becomes fun, creative, and a valuable process to apply anywhere. The arts and science experiences provide an open opportunity for children to explore, demonstrate, and develop wholesome individual and collaborative abilities. Each week is exciting and challenging and based mainly on expanding creativity, innovation and collaboration.
Creativity Camp utilizes the arts and sciences to develop multiple intelligence learning and incorporates brainstorming, thinking, planning, doing, imagining, testing, reflection and sharing. Both the creative and scientific processes help campers transform thoughts into reality. A wide range of materials and tools are utilized with campers for positive and personal growth and creative expression.

Creativity Camp is facilitated by professional teaching artists who help children explore the creative process through drawing, painting, pottery, dance, theatre, creative writing and music with everyday science activities and experiments. Teaching artists place emphasis on family values and the young artists’ interpersonal development within a community where difference is valued, expected and respected.
The Arts + Sciences Creativity Camp provides campers each day with: two art classes (one 2-D & one 3-D) one dance class and one theatre class. The natural sciences along with creative writing, scrapbooking and journaling are woven into the day for children to see how things in daily life are integrated.
REGISTER EARLY
A non-refundable $25 deposit is required of each weekly reservation and is then applied to the weekly camp fee due in full each Monday morning at check in. Campers must bring their own lunch. Beverages and arts and science supplies are provided. Certificates of Creativity are awarded each week at the
4 PM Friday Showcase – art exhibit, dance & theatre performances for family and friends.
