JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title:Marketing Assistant

Reports to:Chief Executive

Responsible to:Chief Executive

Hours of work:22.5 hours per week - (between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm, Mon - Wed)

Location:i2 CIDO Innovation Centre, 73 Charlestown Road, Portadown, Craigavon, Co. Armagh, NI. BT63 5PP

Duration:This is for a period of 3 months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months.

Salary:Salary depending on experience.

JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Chief Executive the postholder will be required to carry out the day to day marketing activities in order to promote the CIDO brand and maximise revenue streams.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, develop and implement effective marketing communication campaigns to promote CIDO services including programmes, property, conference facilities, workshops and any other additional services as requested by the Chief Executive.
  • Use the full marketing mix for the company’s marketing communications;
  • Writing copy for all marketing collateral, including brochures, letters, emails and websites;
  • Understand and maximise the product and customer profile;
  • Monitor ongoing campaign spend against the budget, keeping accurate records and highlighting and reporting on variances;
  • Produce an accurate summary of total spend at the end of a marketing campaign or at junctures as determined by the Chief Executive;
  • Undertake detailed ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met;
  • Produce and present reports as required by the Chief Executive;
  • Assist in the production of ongoing competitor analysis and reporting, with particular reference to pricing, presentation and promotion;
  • Liaise with web design and other specific outside agenciesto ensure that the marketing needs of the company are met.
