THE HEALTHIER SCOTLAND COOKING BUS

CPD PROGRAMME FOR TEACHERS

Our CPD Programme for teachers is an integral part of the Cooking Bus visit and we aim to support teachers in the delivery of food activities in school. As part of young peoples’ entitlement in Curriculum for Excellence, schools are responsible for providing good food education.

The CPD sessions we offer vary in content and in length and by spending time planning with you we aim to put together a programme that suits your school and staff’s needs.

To make the most of the CPD Programme and to continue the legacy of the Healthier Scotland Cooking Bus and sustainability of the National Outcomes of the Food and Drink policy, the CPD sessions are a fantastic opportunity to forge links with other local schools and community groups. By inviting colleagues and community leaders to take part in the sessions, you are widening the reach of the Healthier Scotland Cooking Bus programme, which means that more people are learning the knowledge and skills to practice a healthier lifestyle.

We have listed below the different types of CPD session the Healthier Scotland Cooking Bus Programme offers, which you can opt to run during a Cooking Bus visit.
