*The Gallery is used for the air rifles for 2 hour sessions. Please assume there will be one session per day at a time to be agreed if other campers book the air rifles.

****A booking must be made. There is no warden service so the Leader needs to turn water on when arriving, and off when leaving.
“Floor for the night” charge is the camping charge plus buildings.
Who can use Cox Wood?
Organised groups of any age for day visits and camping. E.g. Scouts; Guides; Play groups; Schools; D of E; Clubs and Societies. ALL adults must be CRB cleared or sole use of the site must be booked.
Rules
The Do’s / The Do Not’sPay for all breakages / Do not block the ditches
Leave buildings clean / Do not Dig holes
Turn off lights / Do not disturb nests or the bird and bat boxes
Use fire barrels / Do not Light fires directly on the ground
Return fire barrels to the store / Do not Cut trees or saplings
Use wood from the wood pile / Do not burn wood, alive or dead, that was grown in the woodland – it is food for the bugs.
Return unused wood to the wood pile
Use clearings away from camping areas for activities (save the grass for sleeping on) / Do not allow the public into the woods the public footpath is only along the driveway
Keep noise levels low at night / Do not disturb the caravans by the BMX circuit
Respect the peace in the Chapel area / Do not use kitchen mops in the toilet
Return cart and wheel barrows for next user / Do not use toilet mops in the kitchen
Drive slowly on the driveway / Do not park in the woods, access is for unloading only. Return cars to driveway.
Keep drive and gates clear for emergency access
Take all your rubbish home
Observe the Scout Laws and Country Code
