Course Description
In this course, students will learn to develop stories for children and young people.
The will have to study some important children films and TV programs.
To develop stories and screenplays for children and young people, the first have to study some litaratur for children and young poeple, espacilally from Turkish autors like Aziz Nesin, Yaşar Kemal, Fakir Baykurt and Elif Şafak.
The will develop storytelling in a child’s mind (çocuk aklı).
They will learn the basic shooting techniques focussing on children’s and young people’s point of view.
They will learn to edit their films in a way, children and young people will understand.
Students will assist at the Ankara Childrens Film Festival “Çocuk Diyarı”.
Goals
Students will reflect the means of cinematography for children and young people.They will learn basic shooting and editing techniques.
