COURSE SYLLABUS

Course Objective: Reading for Writing

This course is tailored and customized to improve students’ English reading skills in this digital and cyber world. Taking it into account that English is regarded as a medium of global communication, the students will be required to actively participate in the reading process. Basically, the students will be able to get a big picture of the reading process by dealing with the reading strategies one by one in this course. On top of this, the knowledge of the reading process will challenge students to write an essay as a team project at the end of the semester.

Course Requirements

(A) Students are required to read the assigned reading materials in advance and to take part in all class activities such as group problem solving, discussions, and team project, etc.

(B) Final Paper: Essay topics and other details will be announced in class.

(C) Attendance: Unnoticed absence will be allowed 5 times.

Attendance:10%
