COURSE STRUCTURE IN ECONOMICS ( HONOURS )

EligibilityCriterion:

  • Students who have passed in Arts or Science at the class XII are eligible for admission to B.Sc. Honours in Economics.
  • Syllabus has been prepared following the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) as recommended by the University Grants Commission.
  • 14 Compulsory Core Courses, 02 Abilities Enhancement Compulsory Courses

(AECC),04 Discipline Specific Elective Courses (DSE), 02 Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC) and 04 Generic Elective Courses (GE) will be distributed in six semesters over three years. GE Papers will be chosen from courses offered by other departments.

  • Each paper is of 60 marks (50 marks for End Semester Examination (ESE) and 10 marks for Internal Assessment.
