The Minutes of the Planning and Administration Committee Meeting held on
30th June 2010 were confirmed and signed as a true record.
26. / Matters Arising.

27. / Lower Hardwick, Mount Pleasant, Chepstow
In line with the request of the previous meeting the Clerk advised that she had studied the planning decisions of Monmouthshire County Council in respect of the various planning applications relating to Lower Hardwick, Mount Pleasant, Chepstow. The Clerk confirmed that Monmouthshire County Council had refused Full Planning Consentin respect of planning applications: DC/2009/00649 – One new apartment with associated works; DC/2009/00640 – Conversion of existing building to apartment with associated works; and,
DC/2009/00642 – Three dwellings and associated works. In additionMonmouthshire County Council had refused Listed Building Consent in respect of planning applications: DC/2009/00650 – One new apartment with associated works; DC/2009/00641 – Conversion of existing building to apartment with associated works. The County Council had however, granted Listed Building Consent in respect ofDC/2009/00643 – Three dwellings and associated works

Fishermans Walk Footpath – Temporary Road Closure
The meeting noted the request for a temporary road closure ofFishermans Walk Footpath, Chepstow to facilitate essential aboricultural and street lighting works to be undertaken from 2nd August 2010 for a period of 3 months, with the footpath being closed for 2 periods of 5 days within the 3 month closure period.
(b) / Planning Inspectorate – Notification of Appeal Decision APP/E6840/F/09/2118601 Site at 13 Bank Street, Chepstow
Members noted the decision of the Planning Inspector to dismiss the appeal against the listed building enforcement notice and to refuse listed building consent for the retention of works carried out in contravention of section 9 of the Planning(ListedBuilding and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended.
