Job Description

Responsible to:Director of Fundraising

Location:212 Business Design Centre, 52 Upper Street, London N1 0QH

Hours:35 hours – 9-5pm

Holiday:23 days per annum (plus bank holidays)

Responsible for:The Corporate Fundraiser will be responsible for raising funds from the corporate sector to an agreed annual target. This will include securing Capital donations and making Charity of the Year applications, sponsorship of events, employee engagement and general donations.

Travel:Some limited travel within the UK will be necessary in this role.

Context

Revitalise is embarking on a major capital campaign for a new Centre. You will be joining the charity at a pivotal time in its 50 year history. The growth in Corporate fundraising is key to the fundraising strategy this year and there are ambitious but realistic targets for both capital and revenue corporate income.

Job Scope

  1. To raise annual funds for both capital and revenue needs
  2. To forge long-term mutually beneficial relationships with corporate supporters and raise funds towards the ongoing work of Revitalise and its capital needs. In order to successfully accomplish this it is essential to nurture and maintain existing corporate relationships
  3. Working alongside the Corporate Partnerships Manager, develop and maintain your own portfolio of companies and assist in delivering and developing new income from businesses by identifying growth areas and opportunities within the corporate sector.
  4. Approach companies for annual donations, multi-year donations through partnerships and COTY.
  5. Keep up to date with professional fundraising associations and media regarding fundraising tools and skills development
  6. To develop professional and compelling solicitation proposals
  7. To develop and write funding proposals, corporate applications and reports.
  8. To manage relationships with Corporates before, during, and after receipt of funds and maintain a high level of supporter care with Corporates
  9. Track, analyse and report on fundraising results and measure, manage and report performance using agreed performance measures
  10. Work with the events fundraiser to maximise corporate contacts leverage and manage corporate participation in the events programme.
  11. To continue to raise the profile of Revitalise by networking at appropriate events and secure new introductions
