Copyright Agreement

All participants are required to read this agreement carefully before submitting works to us. Only after accepting all terms in this agreement will participants (hereinafter referred to as “you”) have the qualification to submit works. By uploading your work to our website, you notify us that the original author(s) of the work agrees that it can be published, accepts this agreement, and abides by all terms and conditions in this agreement.

First, you warrant that you have the legitimate copyright of your submission, and guarantee the authenticity and originality of it. You promise that there is no existence of plagiarism, nor any infringement of anyone’s portrait rights or other legal rights. You also guarantee that you have the right to authorize the organizers to use your submissions in line with the agreement. You also promise that there is no infringement on any third party’s copyright or other legal rights when the organizers’ use your submissions. Otherwise, you assume all responsibilities and compensate organizers’ losses if organizers are faced with administrative penalties, complaints, compensation claims, litigations, etc. from any third party due to your infringement. You agree that your submission can be used, with no restrictions in time and space, and without payment, on all platforms and associated publications (including but not limited to books or audio & video publications) of CCTV, CCTV.com, and CNTV. You must provide necessary copyright materials unconditionally if required by the organizers.

Second, if the organizers find your submission was not accomplished on your own (including plagiarism, theft, cheating, and other unlawful means), or contains the purposes of selling, commercial promotion, and other direct or indirect business purposes, you will be disqualified without any exception.

Third, if you violate any terms of this agreement, the organizers have the right to disqualify you immediately, or cancel the award you have obtained and take back the prize. You also have to bear corresponding civil liability arising from the violation. And we reserve the right to advance further damage compensations claims.

Fourth, the agreement constitutes the important stipulation between the organizer and participants on copyright matters. Uploading works through the email specified by the organizer of the activity will be regarded as acceptance of the terms and conditions of the agreement, and the participant will be bound by them.

Fifth, when participants upload their works, they shall truthfully fill out their name, residence, ID number, contact information, etc. Otherwise, the participant’s right to participate in the activity may be affected. The organizer will not take any responsibility. If the organizer occurs any loss due to negligence from the participant in this regard, participants shall compensate the organizer for such loss.

Sixth, all activities are subject to adjustment by the laws and statutory regulations of the People's Republic of China, and to the jurisdiction of the Chinese courts.

Seventh, the organizer reserves the full right to the interpretation of the scope of this activity.
