Responsibilities

The Coordinator will be responsible for the design, planning, implementation and evaluation of departmental programs and initiatives. Under the direction of the Assistant Director for Management Services and Programs, the Coordinator will work collaboratively with internal and external partners to provide superior service to students, staff, families and the greater university community. He/She will serve as a member of the department's Leadership Team, participating actively in strategic planning, budget development and policy creation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated record of success in higher education or related environment
  • Experience with the planning and implementation of programs, events, or initiatives
  • Demonstrated background in working collaboratively across departments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to the development of an open and welcoming environment, where students, staff and community members feel safe, respected and valued

Preferences

  • Master's degree
  • Three years full-time professional experience in higher education or related environment
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Supervision experience

Salary

Competitive based on experience with average from: $48,333 to $56,000. For further information on UW System salary ranges, please visit the following website:

Terms of Appointment

Renewable, annual (12 month) appointment with a 1.0 FTE.
