37.5 hours per week (flexible due to the nature of NTR’s business)

Purpose of the Job:
To support Artistic Director in the day-to-day administration and development of events and activities programme for the main house, Minghella Studio and other associated NTR events.
To support the Chief Executive and Operations Director in the day to day administration of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Programming:
  • Coordinate the diary of activities for the Minghella Studio.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with businesses and the community to provide a wide range of activities being held in the Minghella Studio.
  • Monitor the financial viability of the Minghella Studio.
  • Liaise closely with the Creative Learning Managers and Creative Producer.
  • Support the Director in the planning, programming and scheduling of shows, events and activities, including contact with professional and community groups and companies.
  • Prepare schedules of events and ensure all team are kept informed.
  • Assist in the administration of projects including contracting, marketing material, booking of venues and risk assessments as necessary.
Administration:
  • Act as minute taker for NTR Board of Trustees meetings and co-ordinate, administrate and distribute all papers in a timely manner.
  • Manage the administration within the office and ensure all communication within the team is effectively reported.
  • Support the Artistic Director in financial and administrative matters including managing their diary.
  • Assist the Operations Director with HR matters including the co-coordinating recruitment process, creating and collating job descriptions and contracts as required.
  • Create databases and maintaining key spreadsheets.
  • Be responsible for office equipment; stationery, printers/toners,
photo-copier and paper recycling and assist with telephone and IT matters as necessary.
  • Act as first point of contact for visitors to the office and attend events as required to represent NTR.
Capital Project:
  • Assist in the development and delivery of the theatres capital project to include collating information, coordinating meetings, research and development.
  • Assist in fundraising and audience development activities and events as required
General
  • Understand and adhere to all NTR policies and regulations.
  • Be a key holder and duty manager as required.
  • Undertake any other task as reasonably requested within this role.
