MAUMEE, OHIO – Attendees at the 2014 NAHB International Builders’ Show® will be the first in the country to view new products launched by Therma-Tru Corp. for 2014. An assortment of new doors, features and glass styles are being offered to provide builders and remodelers with enhanced options for increasing their business.

Located in booth C6108 at the trade show in Las Vegas from February 4-6, 2014, the Therma-Tru exhibit includes an expansion of the Pulse® and Fiber-Classic® Mahogany CollectionTM product lines, redesign of internal blinds with Low-E glass and expanded options for simulated divided lites and grilles between the glass. A new camber top glass shape, more decorative glass options and an improved formula for the Same-Day® Stain and topcoat will also be launched at the show.

"Every new product option being introduced by Therma-Tru in 2014 positively impacts builders and remodelers working to meet consumer demands in the marketplace," says Mark Savan, president of Therma-Tru Doors. “With the immediate popularity last year of Pulse contemporary doors we have moved forward to introduce a Mahogany grain option and new style. And, we're responding to builder and remodeler requests for more door glass features by enhancing our selection of simulated divided lites, grilles between glass and easy-use internal blinds."

For more than 50 years Therma-Tru has specialized in providing aesthetically-pleasing, award-winning door options and entrance solutions from a single supplier. "A Therma-Tru® door with genuine Therma-Tru parts is more than just a beautiful door; it's a complete door system," says Savan. "Our doors offer uncompromising quality inside and out. By manufacturing or specifying every aspect of the complete door system --- including door panel, glass and components --- to a high quality standard, we create a reliable, dependable door system backed by the industry's most comprehensive warranty."*

New Products for 2014

Fiber-Classic Mahogany Collection - On-trend new door styles expand this top-selling, growing product line to satisfy homeowners. New doors and sidelites include deep Mahogany graining and high-definition panel embossments that are designed to complement rich wood tones in the home's interior, extending the hardwood look to entry, patio, house-to-garage and service doors. The expansion also introduces the Mahogany grain to the Therma-Tru vented sidelite offering.

Pulse – Launched in 2013, the Pulse series of contemporary doors now adds a Mahogany-grained fiberglass option along with a new Echo design option for doors and sidelites. Delivering clean lines and crisp right angles, Pulse meets new construction and remodeling market needs for homeowners seeking modern and eclectic entrances.

The new Mahogany-grained fiberglass offering joins the original Oak-grained fiberglass,

smooth fiberglass and steel product line options. New configurations within the Echo design provide a total of 12 new door styles and four new sidelite choices available in a variety of glass designs and material offerings. Pulse doors and sidelites are available in 6'8" and 8'0" heights.

Internal Blinds - Available in full- and half-lite styles, ENERGY STAR® qualified Low-E internal blinds provide both energy efficiency and privacy to home entrances. Cordless operation allows homeowners to control the desired level of light and privacy with the simplicity of a single handle. Blinds are enclosed between glass and remain dust-free for homeowner convenience.

Camber Top Glass Shape - Available for Fiber-Classic Mahogany and Oak Collections, Smooth-Star, Profiles and Traditions doors, the camber top glass shape combines the beauty and natural light of glass with the sense of security that comes with the privacy of a solid-panel door at an exceptional value. Designed as a solution for budget-conscious homeowners, the camber top is designed to complement wood-grained, stainable and smooth, paintable doors for broad appeal.

Decorative glass designs of Maple Park®, SaratogaTM, WellesleyTM and ConcordeTM are available in a variety of caming options to suit many aesthetics.
