Volker Huber appointed new CEO at UTA

  • From August 17th, 2015, Volker Huber will take over the position as Spokesman of the Management (CEO) at UTA.

Kleinostheim, Aug. 4th, 2015 – Volker Huber (49) was recently appointed the new CEO of UNION TANK Eckstein GmbH & Co. KG (UTA). In addition to his duties as Chief Executive Officer, from Aug.17th, 2015 he will also be responsible for the departments Sales, Marketing, Customer Operations, Purchasing of Fuels / Plus Services, as well as Participation Management.

Volker Huber brings with him several years of experience in corporate management and international sales. Native of Achern in the northern Black Forest, he began his career at Lufthansa, where he held various leadership positions in Germany and abroad, including at the subsidiary AirPlus. Most recently he was Member of the Senior Management at the hotel reservation service provider HRS.

The Management of UTA will now consist of Volker Huber (49), CEO; Robert Nürnberger (48), Chief Financial Officer (CFO); and Olaf Schneider (48), Chief Information Officer (CIO).
