A Construction and Building Inspector is basically the one who inspects architected civil works such as highways, roads, bridges, dams, etc… and structures as well commercial and residential buildings, manufacturing plants, etc… the person needs to be specialized in various fields of inspection such as buildings, public works, electrical or mechanical. The person should have the engineering skills to determine structural integrity and the person should necessarily have construction specifications, building codes, safety and state regulations.

- He or she needs to inform about the inspections to the building owners and contractors.

- The basic qualification required is a high school diploma with extensive experience in contraction work.
