Congratulations, you’ve been offered a position with Tai Tarian, now what?
Following our verbal offer of a position with Tai Tarian, we’ll need to do a few final checks as all appointments are subject to satisfactory receipt of the following:
References
An appointment is subject to receipt of a minimum of one satisfactory reference. Wherever possible, these should be from previous employers. If not, then from a formal education setting and the referee should not be related to you.
Identity
It is a requirement of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 that you are required to provide evidence that you are entitled to live or work within the United Kingdom. Therefore, you will be required to provide documents (passport, visa etc.) to comply with your offer of employment.
Qualifications Declared
You will be required to provide original certificates as proof of the qualifications declared on your application form or CV.It is essential that original documents are sighted by the HR section where they will becopied and retained on file. Please note however that if original certificates cannot be providedyour conditional offer of employment may be withdrawn.
Medical Clearance
Any offer of appointment is subject to medical clearance. You will be required to complete a post offer Pre Placement Occupational Health Questionnaire, but may also require a medical examination before your appointment can be confirmed.
Probationary Period
All new employees appointed to this post or employees who are promoted to a higher graded post will be subject to a standard six month probationary period.
Business Travel
You may at times use your own motor vehicle for use on official journeys to carry out your job for which you will be reimbursed for any expenditure.You may be required to submit a copy of your licence and valid MOT and insurance certificate if driving is an essential part of your role.
Schedule 1 - If you are related to any current or formertenant, member of staff, Board member or contractor/consultant of Tai Tarian, you must declare this on your application form (section A). If you have any questions about please contact the HR Department on 01639 508 459.
Unspent criminal convictions–You need to declare any unspent of pending convictions on your application form (section A). If your post may be subject to a satisfactory DBS Check this will be indicated to you during the process.
