Congratulations to you all on making 2018. The fact that you made this year shows you are already experiencing the Promise of the Lord to us this year: “Extra Ordinary Favour”.

Our theme for this first month of the year, “Eden Again” came by the Spirit (not flesh nor blood). I pray that the Holy Spirit of God will guide your study and reveal HIS truth to you.

We have studied on Eden before hence it is Eden Again. We can quickly note that we got as far then to note that Eden is not just a geographical location today but a “space” in life that we can occupy in the presence of God. Let every cell leader explain this and the group can discuss this awhile. It is a space where everything is provided and all is perfectly at peace. Yet there is one test you must abide by to keep it at peace – obedience. Genesis 2: 4 – 17

Obedience – it is adhering to the Word of instruction in spirit and in truth. In letter and in attitude/spirit. Which means you must first know the word of instruction (The Word of God in our case, the manual, the spirit) - (Numbers 15:39, 1 Kings 6:12, Psalm 119:129, Ephesians 6:6). God is a God of order not confusion. HE created all things by HIS word (John 1: 1 – 3). It is to your advantage to believe the word of God (2Timothy 3: 16) for in that word is the presence and operation of God. Follow it line upon line, precept upon precept. Go by the word for in the word is indeed, Life forever (Matthew 24: 35).

It is the obedience of HIS word that keeps you in line. It is the obedience of HIS word that keeps us in order (structural and spirit). It is the obedience of HIS word that fulfils destiny for what shall it profit a man (Mark 8: 36). Example is Saul in 1Samuel 15: 22, we can see it is better to heed HIS word than to go your own stubborn way. You can know the difference:

  • When you ignore your inner conscience.
  • When you act in ways that exclude others pretentiously in an arrogant manner etc.
  • When you go to elaborate extent to cover up your true act secretly delighting in it
  • When you do not have peace ….

We lose our “Eden” space when we go against these things. We can discuss more on this with examples that are scriptural.

Have you lost your peace? Are you still in Eden? If you can tell that you have lost your peace in certain areas (for all have fallen short of the glory of God) it is a good thing! If you claim you haven’t, it is probably that you have lost your conscience. Be careful and not stiff necked. Let us humble ourselves and regain “Eden Again”.

So we ask ourselves at this stage: Do you want to regain your “Eden Again”?

Next week, we will look at a man who lost “Eden” and regained it again. 1Samuel 30.

We take a break until next year January 7th 2018. Questions are welcome by email to or text /SMS +447852970417.
