-Agenda for Entergy Meeting (Tuesday, 24 June – 8.00-2.00) – BOLDEDitems were added to the agenda
- Conformance
- Vote on and ratify the document posted on the Sharepoint
- Request to distribute that document via email prior to meeting Erich G
- Need to make some additional tweaks to replace “compliance” with “conformance”
- Utility members expected to review prior to meeting and come prepared with final comments/ready to discuss and vote
- Reference Design
- Erich G suggests this be taken up by OpenAMI based on utility feedback during the last biweekly call
- Could be a work item for a technology-specific sub group if those are adopted
- CEC participant in last OpenHAN call decided they should try to work this through another group
- No dissent from present membership
- Public Network Gateway Discussion
- Jerry G and Matt G see need to talk about interfaces outside the meter
- James P points out that we’ve implicitly drawn it in the architectural drawings and that the ZigBee Alliance has a timeframe for comments on its IP Gateway work
- Erich G and Brent H question whether this is in scope for this group
- IP is technology-specific
- Erich G suggests a work item that specifies requirements for connecting HANs to the utility through public networks
- Good support from present membership

- Potential opportunity to work with Richard Schomberg to get this published under IEC
- Marketing plan to promote this document
- Powerpoint slide set for utilities to market it internally and externally
- OpenHAN SRS will be published and press release will be carried by SmartGrid News

- Barry P would like this discussed in conjunction with AMI Enterprise
- This is AEP’s main goal for Smart Grid initiatives
- Discussion of the various elements of where a CIM applies (EnterpriseHAN)
- OpenHAN role is to define requirements for other existing CIM groups (IEC, UCAIug) to implement
- OpenHAN provides domain expertise to existing groups
- Idea of establishing a liaison to these groups
- OpenDR question Does this group also weigh in?
- Erich G: This is a shell group that is a holding group for the OpenAMI and UtilityAMI and all task forces
- Process underway to rename this within the UCAIug to something more Smart Grid-related
- Technology-specific Sub Groups
- Zahra M would like to discuss utilities forming sub-groups around particular technologies within OpenHAN
- Ivan O suggested these groups be formed by utility members that are part of a particular technology alliance outside of OpenHAN
