The international experience is optional. If a student chooses not to take part, there will be no financial reimbursement.

Students will be required to take out travel insurance and make their own arrangements for subsistence costs including meals and refreshments.

The international experience is organised by the University of Gloucestershire and includes visits to university-approved locations and experiences only. The types of opportunities offered may vary and the University reserves the right to change the locations and opportunities as required.

Our field study options are planned so that they are accessible to all students, but the University reserves the right to withdraw a field study opportunity from a student on advice from a medical practitioner or other relevant professional, or on the grounds of student safety. If they are unable to secure a relevant Visa, or are otherwise unable to meet official requirements for travel, they will not be able to take part in the international experience.

If the student changes their degree course to another full-time course at the University of Gloucestershire mentioned within these terms and conditions, the Gloucestershire Scholarship Contribution can be transferred to a field study option on your new course.

This offer is subject to availability and the University reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time.

Students studying on a franchised or validated course will not be eligible for the award (please contact if further information is required.)

A Gloucestershire Scholarship holder who transfers from full-time to part-time enrolment will cease to be eligible for the Scholarship.

A student deferring entry is not eligible for the Scholarship or unconditional upgrade.

The University will terminate the award for any student who ceases to be an enrolled student of the University of Gloucestershire, for whatever reason.
