Sygnity implements Flexcube systeminBGŻ Bank.

Till July2009BGŻBank will have implemented back-office treasury operations in regard to securities and international transfers.

Sygnity would like to inform that the Company signed an agreement with BGŻ Bank for implementation and servicing of Flexcube system in regard to automation of back-office treasury operations on securities and international transfers. System is made byi-flex solutions Company – foreign partner of Sygnity and will be implemented in BGŻ Bank till July2009. Sygnity gives guarantee and post-guarantee service for this solution through the next at least 5 years.Gross value of the contract amounts to ca.PLN 16.3 million.

Flexcube is the modern, centralised banking system,world best-selling in the last 5 years.Projectof implementation of the New IT HeadquartersSystem (NSIC) to serve operations done in Bank Headquarters was launched in result of growing needs of the BGŻ Bank concerning servicing significant volume of transactions and because of necessity to automate processes with parallel operational risk level decreasing.

Decision to implement a new IT system supporting transactions processes concluded and settled by the Bank Headquarters was caused by necessity to improve and minimise operational costs. Successful achievement of these objectives is possible through integration of activities in one central IT system serving full processes in regard to servicing of aforementioned transactions without necessity to register their parts in various scattered systems. Another important factor was necessity of constant inflow of up-to-date, consolidated and reliable information on managerial level.

Main assumptions are: projecting of changes in organisational structure resulting from Bank’s centralisation of operational activities in the Headquarters’ IT system, adjusting system to changing legal regulations, and system safety according to the Bank’s policy.

We hope it will speed up and improve our Customer Service and will extend a list of our products thanks to functionality of FLEXCUBE system, which results from use of system and experience of the greatest financial institutions in the world”– saidDorota Wakulska, Deputy Headquarters Operations Department Director in BGŻ.
