Computer Programming Project Interactive Presentation

Computer Programming Project – Interactive Presentation

You are going to create an interactive presentation using Visual Basic. This means that it should be a slideshow format, similar to PowerPoint. The purpose is to present your presentation to one individual sitting in front of a computer while running your program. It is made for the user to sit down at a computer and go over bullet points about a topic. However, you also need to include interactive parts as well that will require the user to click on items from the toolbox in order to bring up the next bullet point, or go to the next slide, etc. You should also have a series of questions at the end that will quiz the user over the material he/she just covered. You should use at least 12 objects from the toolbox, including labels, buttons, link labels, picture boxes, and tool tips.

Minimum Requirements:

1)  You need to use at least 12 objects from the toolbox.

  1. Five of the 12 objects must be labels, buttons, link labels, picture boxes, and tool tips. You may choose the other 6 objects yourself.

2)  You need to have at least 3 forms with information about the subject

  1. Enlarge the forms so the take up the entire screen.

3)  You need at least 1 form with questions

  1. This will be done similar to the last project we did, but I want to see more creativity in the coding and on the form itself.

4)  You need a very basic web browser on a separate form to allow the user to research the Internet for the answer to the questions.

  1. You need a browser, a text box, and navigation. You do not need a file menu or tool strip with other working buttons.

5)  Make it look good, such as a PowerPoint.

  1. Include backgrounds that are not busy and annoying to the eye, but do look professional.
  2. Include next and back buttons. Also, depending on how you organize your presentation, you may want to have a home button.
