Computer Acceptable Use Policy

The AP CS Principles course incorporates the use of classroom computers and classroom tablets to complete the programming projectsfor the course. It is important that you have daily access to the devices and understand that the use of technology is a privilege.

ASSIGNMENT: Find the Technology Agreement on the NHHS Website and READ the agreement before you complete the agreement below.

  • Go to NHHS website
  • Find the Parent – Student Community Handbook under the Student menu or Parent menu at the top.
  • From the Alpha Listing across the top of the screen, hover over on “T-Z”, then click on Technology Information.
  • READ the Technology Agreement, and then show a parent or guardian the Technology Agreement on the Website. Have them initial here that you found and reviewed the information on the NHHS website.
  • Both you and your parent/guardian must read and complete the form below and return to Mrs. Vida on September6, 2017. (5 points)

CLASSROOM TABLETS: The student is responsible for the classroom tablet when the tablet is in their possession. The tablets are not allowed to leave the room under any circumstances unless first approved by Mrs. Vida. You must report to the teacher any damage to the tablet before you leave the room. If the tablet is damaged or lost while in your possession, the students is responsible for the $100 cost.

Students will not receive Internet access until this agreement is signed by both the student and parent/guardian and returned.

I also understand that this access is for educational purposes, and that I will not hold the Board of Education responsible for materials acquired on the Internet.
