NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT (NLI)
• Student-athletes that sign or have signed a National Letter of Intent for Division I or II institutions may register to have the signing photographed with their coach, athletic director, parents, and Msgr. Kelly and/or Msgr. Harahan. Three dates have been set aside, roughly corresponding to the official NCAA "signing windows" for the various sports – 11:45 am on Thurs. Nov. 10, 2016 (registration deadline Nov. 4); Thurs. February 2, 2017 (deadline Jan. 27); and Tues. April 11, 2017 (deadline April 7). These dates have been set aside by the administration and coaches so they can be available for the photo; consequently families that are not able to make one date will have to register for the next available date.
• Note that the National Letter of Intent (NLI) offered by NCAA member institutions to student-athletes that will attend Division I or II schools, and the photograph of the signing is offered only to signees that played for Seton Hall Prep the previous season or are currently playing for Seton Hall Prep athletic teams.
• Students and their families should report to Msgr. Kelly's office at 11:45 am on the appropriate date. Students should be dressed in jacket and tie and be clean shaven. The intention is for both Msgr. Kelly and Msgr. Harahan to be in the photo with the family, but one or the other may be called away. In the event that both are unable to attend, we will alert the families as soon as possible and will reschedule the photo.
• Note that this is merely a commemorative photo, and is not necessarily the actual signing. The official paperwork may be submitted to the offering institution either before or after the photo is taken.
