Concessions: Available on site. No food or drinks may be brought in from outside the building. This means you!! Do not bring snacks into the dressing areas!!! You may bring water in the dressing area only. YOU are responsible for your own food throughout the day as each of you ison a different schedules.

Team Rules
-You may NOT leave throughout the day. Not only is this a team event, you are on a very strict time schedule and it is very important that you be on campus all day long. Please remember that you have specific times that you need to be getting ready and warming-up before performances. It is crucial that you follow the time schedule because we need every minute of warmup and practice that we can get before performances.
-We expect you to be in attendance for your teammates performances. If you are not performing a solo, etc., you need to be there to support your teammates.
-If you are not in a particular routine, please help your teammates dress for the routines that they are performing in.
-Please be aware of the time. We encourage you to watch other team performances; however, you need to be aware of the time. You need to be dressed at the times specified and you need to be ready to watch your fellow teammates at their designated performance times.
-Please look at your sheet to know what you should be wearing. If you are not in costume, you are wearing your warm up pants and your contest t-shirt. Do NOT wear any other variation of this outfit.
Dressing Area Rules:
-Positively, no food or drink allowed in the classrooms or inside thebuilding. Most of our classrooms are carpeted. Food and drink are notallowed in the carpeted areas of our school. Please do not bring in anyoutside food or drink.
-The dressing areas are not secured. Each team is responsible for the care
and keeping of all personal and team items. If the dressing area is left in an unsatisfactory state we will be charged $100. This cost will come out of your pocket! CLEAN UP YOUR MESS!
-For your safety, absolutely no men are allowed in dressing room areas
or hallways.
Contest Etiquette
-Do not discuss ANY performances (including your own) in a negative manner. If you make a mistake, do not leave the dance floor talking about it. Only discuss performances in a positive manner. Please remember to be supportive and respectful of other teams as well, you never know who is listening in on your conversation!!
-When watching performances in the Main Gym, teams may be asked to sit on the opposite side of the gym from the parents. You are NOT an exception to this rule!
-Remember during the awards ceremony to cheer politely for other teams. They worked just as hard as you did to be successful.
-Yell LOUD for all Silverados!!! You all have worked hard on your dances. We are VERY proud of you and proud to be a part of this team!

PARENT/SPECTATOR CHECKLIST
- All spectator parking and entry into the contest will be located on the west side of the school by the Texan Gym. Please enter at the Texan Gym foyer. See directions to Northwest H.S.
- TOWING WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED IN THE BUS DROP OFF AREA AND FIRE LANES. PARKING ATTENDANTS AND SIGNS WILL ASSIST IN DIRECTING TRAFFIC.
- For safety and security of our participants, we are not allowed to give out dressing room assignments to anyone but the director.
- All food and drinks must be confined to the cafeteria/commons area. We cannot allow food or drink into the carpeted classroom areas.
- All video camera must work off of battery packs. Due to fire code regulations, tripods/support devices, and electrical extension cords are not permitted for general use in the performance areas.

ATTENTION DIRECTORS: Make the following information and directions available to your team members’ parents.
*PARKING IN THE FIRE LANES AND ON THE LAWN/SIDEKWALKS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
Vehicles parked in any of these areas will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense by the Fort Worth Police/Fire Departments.
*BUSES ONLY MAY USE THE BUS CUEING AREA located at the west entrance of the school
After dropping students off, buses will need to park in the PARKING LOT BY THE TENNIS COURTS OR NEXT TO PIKE MIDDLE SCHOOL.
FROM NORTH DALLAS: Take I-635W, to Highway 114 West, to Grapevine/DFW Airport, North Entrance. Continue past the airport on 114 West through Southlake, Trophy Club and Roanoke. You will pass the Texas Motor Speedway on your right hand side. Continue heading west on Highway 114. The next major development you will see on your left hand side is Northwest High School. Turn left at the football stadium, which will put you onto Texan Drive. Follow Texan Drive around a few curves and you will see the high school on your left hand side. There will be booster parents by our parking lots directing you where to park.
FROM FORT WORTH:Take I-35W. to north to Denton. Exit 114 (right at the Texas Motor Speedway) and turn left (west). You will pass the Texas Motor Speedway on your right hand side. Continue heading west on Highway 114. The next major development you will see on your left hand side is Northwest High School. Turn left at the football stadium, which will put you onto Texan Drive. Follow Texan Drive around a few curves and you will see the high school on your left hand side. There will be booster parents by our parking lots directing you where to park.
FROM ARLINGTON or MID-CITIES AREA: Take 360 N. to 121 N. into Grapevine. Exit right to William D. Tate/114 West. Turn left (heading west) onto Highway 114. You will head west on 114 driving through the towns of Southlake, Trophy Club and Roanoke. You will pass the Texas Motor Speedway on your right hand side. Continue heading west on Highway 114. The next major development you will see on your left hand side is Northwest High School. Turn left at the football stadium, which will put you onto Texan Drive. Follow Texan Drive around a few curves and you will see the high school on your left hand side. There will be booster parents by our parking lots directing you where to park.
*The main parking lot is located on the WEST side of the school and is accessible only from Texan Drive, with the main parking lot’s entrance being located directly by the tennis courts. Signs and parking attendants will be available to direct traffic.
