- Meeting called to order by Chairman Larry Smith. Prayer led by Morris Giesler. Pledge of Allegiance led by Roy Billings. Chairman Larry Smith reminded everyone about today’s anniversary being “D-Day.”

- AFRC Family Programs Family Assistance – Elizabeth Johnston works with military families on personnel issues that require guidance in areas of military pay benefits, pay, and financial debt. She provides services in communications, community outreach/resources, counselor support, family care plan, family readiness groups, financial, ID Cards, financial, military retirement, natural disaster, property/household issues, reintegration, service member pay problems, Tricare, urgent/critical, VA benefits, and youth issues. - Team Rulbicon Brothers in Battle – Cody Trestrail reminded everyone again of the upcoming fundraiser June 27th at Alderbrook Park in Hockinson. There will be a variety of activities including a volleyball tournament, BBQ, bands, beer, dunk tank, raffles, petting zoo, etc.
- Costco “Heroes Night” –Kristina Johnson also reminded everyone about their event on June 21st from 6:30PM to 9:00PM at the East Vancouver Costco (19610 SE 1st Street, Camas, WA 98607) in honoring local Police, Firefighters, EMT’s, Active Duty Military, Veterans, Teachers, and Doctors and Nurses who served and protect us every day. There will be a donation drive for local veterans and military families in need, scavenger hunt, booths, gas and cash card giveaways, membership promotions, and more.
- CMAC News:
- Stover Flagpole at Harmony Sports Center – Connor Johnson promoted his Eagle Scout project with a commemorative flag pole and plaque dedicated to Air Force Captain Chris Stover. Dedication was on May 26th. Over $4,000 was raised for this project. There were over 100 people in attendance...
- POW/MIA Project – Project Manager Bob Bean and Contractor Kelly Punteney Contact Bob for forms to be filled out for the bricks. $100 for each brick with engraving up to 18 characters per line, 2 lines at most. These bricks will be placed at the new Memorial site in front of the new Armed Forces Reserve Center. Site preparation has begun. Dedication will be in the fall. Bricks will be placed prior to the Dedication. Have 94 bricks, need 6 more for a total 0f 100. Need another press release.
- Fourth of July Parade – Jack Giesen Michael Stacey will ask Ron Powers to be the announcer for the parade. Civil Air Patrol will be the Color Guard and help carry the Gold Star Banners. The 40 et 8 Loci will be there. Still need cars, will check with the NW Convertible Club. The Buffalo Soldiers will be there with their horses, and Jack will have his military vehicles there, as well.
- Wall of Remembrance – Roy Billings said they still have a space and would like to have a Korean Mural placed there. He is asking for donations for this mural.
- Memorial Day Ceremony – May 26th
- Handshake between Chairman Dan Tarbell and SFC Larry Rhodes representing the 2/95 Division in agreement to have the 2/95th Division as the Color Guard for the Memorial Day Ceremony.

- Wreaths and Carnations – Joel Scott 1 Large Wreath for all Veterans & 1 Small for Captain Christopher Stover. 20 Carnations for the Gold Star families. 1 Red Rose for the POW/MIA Table. The Wreaths need to be larger, will pay more!

- Bright Eyes Doves Release – Jadia Ward 51 Doves released and 1 person for each Branch of Service. Excellent!
- POW/MIA Chair & Table – Jack Giesen/Jeff Davis Excellent!
- Artillery Firing – Don Olsen –Fire 6 rounds; one for each branch of service and one for fallen veterans. Had the Young Marines firing the cannons. Very memorable!
- Honor Guard/Rifle Salute – John Hopkins/6th Marines Did not show up! VFW will now be the Honor Guard with the Rifle Salute.
