Stuff for Kids and Youth Project (The Sky Project) / This project, based in Shortlees, Kilmarnock, will provide a safe place for children under eight years old to play, learn and improve social skills, and to receive nutritious food. / £9,432 / East Ayrshire
Hurlford and Crookedholm Playgroup / This group will extend it operating hours to create more flexible spaces for children aged 0 to five from the local area. It will provide a wider range of activities including a breakfast club. / £9,668 / East Ayrshire
East Lothian Roots and Fruits / This group, based in Prestonpans, will provide four 6 weekly cookery workshops and health promotion sessions for parents and families on low incomes, across communities in East Lothian. / £2,440 / East Lothian
Pitcorthie Playgroup / This group, based in Dunfermline, will use its award to purchase additional play equipment, as well as the costs of hiring its hall. Aimed at children aged two and a half to five, the project will also provide a range of child friendly outings. / £9,798 / Fife
Scottish Badminton Union / This group will encourage families from around the Govan and Linthouse area of Glasgow to use their newly refurbished community badminton facility. An Open Day event will take place followed by a block of three 10 weekly sessions. / £ 7,163 / Glasgow
Cornerstone Community Care / This group will deliver a parenting support group for parents of children under one living in Bourtreehill. It will teach essential parenting skills, building parent and child bonds and provide peer support. / £9,984 / North Ayrshire
South Ayrshire Council / This creative arts project is for children aged 0 to 3 years old and their parents and carers in Girvan. It will provide workshops in six week blocks or as one off day events. / £8,714 / South Ayrshire
St Collumbkilles Club / This group will extend the hours and availability of their low-cost childcare facility in the local church which will provide parents in an area of high unemployment with the respite needed to return to work or further education. / £9,283 / South Lanarkshire
NeighWhips Communities / This group, based in Strathaven, will develop a parent and child family programme to interact together with horses in a safe environment. The project will improve parenting skills and will enable children aged between three and eight years to spend quality time with their parents while interacting with the animals. / £10,000 / South Lanarkshire
Cambusbarron Community Out of School Club / This club will establish their service in the local area to fill the void of a recently closed after school club. The group delivers a breakfast club and after school care and will purchase new art, science and technology resources. / £7,754 / Stirling
The Blane Valley Playgroup Association / This group based in Blanefield will purchase new play equipment and run an ‘Under The Ocean’ discovery project for children under five who attend their play sessions, culminating in a trip to the Deep Sea World Aquarium in Edinburgh. / £5,478 / Stirling
