Game of the Week – PitBulls over K9s (59-58)
This was an absolute thriller, as K9s got their studs aligned by paying TJ Gwynn his big contract to return! However, he and other superstar Kenny Williams could not get the K9s their first win on the season. “I bet this is the first time in those guys’ history they are facing and 0-3 debacle start, and frankly, I would be embarrassed!” stated a fan who declined to state his name for fear of retaliation. “I would say maybe they need to play the Wizards to assure their first win,” he added. In all fairness, the now-super-powerful K9s had to face a daunting PitBulls team that was expected to be spectacularly successful this season. But on this night, there were only 5 of them and after stud Larry Garland fouled out, the K9s had a power play for the last 3 minutes but still could not pull off a win! “Yea, we spent big bucks on our superstars of Kenny, TJ, and Danny, but it will take time to develop chemistry against these other teams that have been playing together for awhile,” coach Rob stated. Ok, maybe we can buy that, but come on, 0-3 to start and against only 4 guys?! The pressure now really has to be on the K9s to get in the win column and show the world that talent can and should lead to victories! Next up, undefeated RepeatOffenders…oh boy, get your tickets early, as this will be sold out!
Legend of the Week – Krista Jay (Gaga’s)
Krista led the Gaga’s to a dominating win over the heavily talented and defending champ Saints with a powerful 30 points to lead all Legends scorers for the week! You’ve gotta give the LOW to her!
Krista is unstoppable!
