Game of the Week – K9s vs. PitBulls (72-64)

Well, so much for Elite being better than all the A teams! K9s are very strong with some serious studs, and they prove it again, taking down a 6-man PitBulls team that seemed to run out of gas in the second half. “Maybe we should have listened to the commish when he wanted to add a 7th player,” stated one of the PitBulls who did not want to be named (Goff). “We think we can compete well in Elite, but I know the Supermen want another shot at us, so we will stick it out in A,” explained K9’s coach Rob Mignon, who was under heavy pressure to move to Elite from various sources. “I just know what happened to the heavily favored HoundDogs last year, so it is not inevitable that those guys will win,” stated All-Star Figueroa who helped tremendously in the argument to keep K9s in A.

Smith – “I should be in Elite, but I don’t wanna be until we get the A Division trophy!”

Legend of the Week –Jephte Martinez (Ninja)

Martinez had a breakout game with a crazy 25 points and 6 3-pointers to keep his Ninja in the undefeated ranks! “I was just sick of the Hay’s brothers getting all the press, so I just went for it,” the usually modest Jephte stated.

One of his six 3-pointers!
