For a detailed description of this new trauma therapy, along with the theoretical tenets, techniques, and clinical material with case examples, readers are referred to a recent 68-page APA journal article on OEI:

Bradshaw, R. A., Cook, A., McDonald, M. J. (2011). Observed & experiential integration (OEI): Discovery and development of a new set of trauma therapy techniques. Journal of Psychotherapy Integration, 21(2), 104-171.

OEI is useful for resolving and processing psychological trauma, treating addictions & eating disorders, improving relationships (couples, families, groups), and improving performance (artistic, athletic, professional). Please see the Web site ( for more information regarding research, presentations & publications, and answers to FAQs in video clips.

More than 75% of the weekend is spent in small groups (1:8 trainer/trainee ratio), receiving hands-on instruction and supervised practice. The seminar fee includes electronic copies of (a) the Client Handbook and (b) a handout package.
