#1 What Parents need to know about Bullying, Harassment and Hazing Presenter: Dr. Kishia Towns This presentation will help parents understand what bullying, harassment and hazing are and are not. Parents will learn how to prevent bullying and ways to report it.

#2 Georgia Milestone Assessment Presenter: Penny Mosley

This session is designed to provide information to parents about the Georgia Milestone Assessment. Suggestions will be given regarding ways parents can partner with the school to help students.

#3. Writing across the Curriculum

Presenter: Kanessa Fain-Vandenburg

Attend this workshop to get a better understanding about how you can best help your child with writing in all content areas, as well as, writing in response to what they have read or experienced.

#4. Meet the Reading Challenges with

Resources at your Fingertips

Presenter: Dr. Mary Etta Thomas

This presentation will show parents what resources are free and available to meet the challenge of spending 30 minutes reading with their child every day, to help improve reading skills.

#5 ABC’s and 123

Presenter: Donna Nelson

This session will provide simple learning experiences and activities for parents of children ages 3-5.

#6. A Parent’s Guide to Infinite Campus

Presenter: Dana Gordon

Participants will learn the terminology and awareness of technology skills needed to access and utilize Infinite Campus.

#7 Parent, Teacher Communication

Presenter: Dr. Norman Thomas

In one 30 minute session we will offer you keys to successful techniques for parent, teacher communication.

#8. STEM: Mission Possible

Presenter: Andrea Wright

This interactive session will serve as an introduction to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) for parents.
