Assisting the Chairman in her role at branch level and attending some of the national committee meetings to get a grounding in national WiP policy.
Treasurer
Keeping the books to show income (branch levy and income from events) and expenditure. Operating the bank account. Preparing financial reports for the branch committee meetings and AGM. Support is available from the national treasurer.
Secretary
Taking minutes at branch committee meetings and the AGM.
Membership Secretary
Liaising with Fiona Alfred the National Administrator, on new members and renewals. Dealing with local membership enquiries. Keeping contacts up to date.
Publicity Officer
Sending out press releases, keeping record of press coverage, sending copies of coverage to the national committee and dealing with sponsorship opportunities.
Events Secretary
Responsible for co-coordinating a varied mix of events for branch. To assist and liaise with committee members for the organisation of events.'
Website Co-ordinator
Responsibility to ensure the branch information on the website is current. Tasks include uploading flyers for branch events and reviews from events onto website.
Roadshow Co-ordinator
Responsibility for co-ordinating with schools and colleges to promote the property industry and Women in Property at careers events and open days.
Student Awards Co-ordinator
Responsible for organising the branch student awards judging event and awards ceremony. Involving co-ordinating students to enter and judges to attend student presentations.
General Committee Member
Attending monthly meetings and sharing ideas for events with other committee members organising or assisting to organise events, helping to promote the Association generally.
