COLORADO YOUNG FARMERS EDUCATIONAL ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
PURPOSE
To recognize outstanding students who will be a freshman and sophomore majoring in agriculture, and a junior and senior majoring in Agricultural Education working toward teacher certification during the 2012-2013 year.
ELIGIBILITY
The student must be enrolled as a full-time student at a Colorado junior/community college, college or university and be a Colorado resident.
BASIS OF AWARD
The selection of the scholarship recipients will be based upon scholarship, activities and interest in agriculture and teaching Agricultural Education.
AWARD
There will be five one-year college scholarships awarded which include: two $500 awards for a freshman, one $500 award for a sophomore, one $750 award for a junior and one $1,250 award for a senior.
